Love the video - have an odd one. Struggling to go advanced with LP control to advanced with LP control. Have a request to try use the UI to ship then mobile to receive. This leaves me without a target LP though and gets the shipment lost in the void. Stuck on shipped status but unreceivable through any conventional approach I can think of.
Hi Scott You got to select the item you wanted to receive on the AWM to non AWM process - When doing the AWM to AWM you do not get that option it is system directed by line number is there anyway to get that option or at least and order overview as my compnay does TO's up to 100 lines and I want the option to process the line in hand not the line the system chooses for me? thanks keep bringing out great D365 content
Hi Scott Please can you help, when I create a transfer order and put all my line items in and say save, then release to warehouse the problem I have is when that is done, its release by line item and the locations is all over the place and not in order, how can I fix this, so when I create an order and then release it to warehouse in must release in location order and not line order.

I want to receive only 2 i.e partial quantity which is not allowing for me using AWMS.(However I can do using normal process by moving them to scrap location). Is there a way I can receive partial quantity using AWMS.(Under delivery is set to 100%)

I"m working on a video this week to demo that feature it should be out next week. I didn't think about it, but I'll be sure and test the transfer scenario to find out if it works there as well. I know it will work for POs, I'm assuming it will work for transfers and RMAs.

We have a transfer order assigned to a delivery truck, we cannot systematically dispatch or unassign the transfers because it gave us an error and it seems to be stuck in a open status. How can we unassigned the transfers ???
Hi Scott, thank you , the video is quite informative , but i have one doubt,regarding Transfer from AWMS enabled WH to non-AWMS WH 40, am tranferring an AWMS enabled item ,say A from AWMS enabled WH ,say 80 for which the transit WH 50 is also AWMS enabled , so after doing the tranfer from the mobile app and confirming the shipment ,the onhand quantity is getting reduced in WH 80, but the physical inventory is not increasing in WH 40, the reason being ,now the item is in the transit WH 50(this WH is AWMS enabled), so my question is how do i send the item from the transit WH50 to the Non-AWMS enabled WH 40?? Thank you in advance. Plz help

From warehouse we are picking in UI using picklist without releasing to warehouse and while receiving at to warehouse we are receiving using LP. All locations are LP controlled, and LP is updated on the transaction for all lines. We end up in error while received at TO wh "Invalid license plate". TO status is shipped. Is it standard limitation?
That should work. On the mobile device check to make sure you are doing LP receiving. If you are you might post your setup to the Microsoft communities site.
Hi Scott I want to transfer from awms to std wh as you told in the video but in my case item is residing in the exact location from where it is to transferred to Std WH.How can i setup location directive since there is no real pick and put in Amws like bulk to baydoor. Item is already sitting in the location from it should be transferred to Std wh. Both warehouses Awms and std are on the same place..no real baydoor..it just transfer from awms to wh. Pick from awms loc to Std wh. How can we configure this?

Hi Scott, Can we use Transfer Order number instead of work ID and License plate on Transfer issue and Transfer receipt? Secondly, can we confirm shipment from the warehousing mobile application application, I did see your other video in which explain how to confirm shipment from your phone but that was Finance and Operations application (not warehousing application).
Hey Zeeshan, The transfer order can only be received using license plate receiving. You do need to have the LP before receiving. On your second question there isn't a way to confirm the shipment from the mobile app. However there is now a batch job that you can run periodically to confirm your shipments.
@@zeeshanrahim715 It's still in preview so you need to go to feature management to enable. It's called Confirm outbound shipments from batch jobs enable that in feature management. Then its found under warehouse management ->periodic the menu name is called process outbound shipments.

There is a batch item check box in the location directive actions. Make sure you have your picking line batch enabled.
How do we post packing slip after confirming shipment. Packing SLip is blank If I generate
You should just be able to click the packing slip button on either the shipment or sales order to generate the packing slip.
