I started this ep on Spotify on my drive home, and it just starts with Slime saying "I'm not sorry" and I listened to the first 30 minutes having to kind of use context clues to figure out wtf was happening. By the end of that 30 mins I came to the conclusion they must be sitting like in a dirt field in a crater that was comically supposed to be where their house was after it got blown up. So I get home, turn this episode on, watch the opening skit, and when it cuts to them sitting in the blown up attic I've never laughed so fucking hard in my life.

for an episode that started with a mafia monkey, i did not expect to get into such real talk about SA and harassment. Sorry to Lud and Aimen for having to deal with that, and thanks for talking about it so openly
I'm really impressed and encouraged by Aiden and Ludwig telling those stories. Revealing that you were in a vulnerable position like that, as a dude, is really really hard, for like, lots of reasons. My cousin visited our fam once when I was in college, and I took out my cousin's daughter (13 or 14 years old) with my friendgroup of the time who were well-off progressive liberal college town homies, and I found out later that one of them, who was 22 at the time (and a trans woman - sorry but it's relevant to the story, keep reading) had followed her into the changing rooms at the Macy's to try on clothes with her in the same tiny mirror-walled cubicle changing room. Apparently, my """friend""" had said to my niece "oh don't worry it's fine" and that she'd help her tell if her fit looked good from the back. My niece really wanted to fit in with us older young-adults back then, so she didn't tell me how scared she was that day until years later. Queer sexual assault is still sexual assault. And people who hide behind the "Oh I was just looking out for [younger/weaker/employee/unconfident] person! I really care about them! I'm so sorry for the SA experiences... And I totally understand what Aiden was saying, but I'd like to add that it is never the victim's fault. It's a very normal feeling we get but it truly isn't your fault. Again, I'm sorry you guys had to go through that.

I've got notifications on Spotify exclusively so I can see when a new episode drops, because TH-cam Notifications seem to be unreliable, just so I can watch and listen while I work from home. I've watched every episode 2 times over by now, because it's nice to have what feels like friends talking near me while I work. Man I love Parasocial Relationships.
Slime was right. Edit: I've also been groped once or twice by elders. One of my old friends asked if I wanted to go to Reno for this Rib Cook-off thing. I went. Shit was fire. Anyways, my buddy, his brother, a couple others and I were waiting in line to get some lemonade to drink and the line is essentially two rows of people with anyone else just walking past pretty much being shoulder to shoulder and I'm kind of a big guy so it's packed for me. So we're just hanging out waiting for the line to move up and just out of nowhere, I feel my left cheek being grasped somewhat gingerly but also firm, from the inside of my back pocket, like an attempt at palming a basketball. I was so shaken by being touched at all that I spin around towards where I assume this person is grabbing me from and all my eyes catch is this somewhat frail looking older woman's hand leaving just where my butt was in a trailing hand behind kinda way but she's walking away in the crowd and gone before I could put together what just happened. By the time we got our lemonade I whispered to my friend next to me that I was just grabbed at by an old lady and I'm so embarassed even whispering it because I'm a bigger guy and weakness like that is pretty stigmatized. Went home, felt weird, still feel weird. Also put into perspective a lot of shit for me as a gross edgy teen back then, so maybe a blessing in disguise but whatever. There have been a couple other times this has happened, but this was the first and weirdest. Second time I got that Rocket Power handshake type motion (I cannot be anymore serious, even I'm still wondering why that) done on my lovehandles while I was working and I was face to face with that guy when I turned around. Told him straight up to leave before his cane turned into a wheelchair and my manager was fine with it since he saw everything on camera afterwards.

@@filipflyers-ds9oc i still am and im literally a few minutes away from finishing it
@@Lonech I still am and its over
@@wyattbailey1813 atrioc leaked that the yard was getting a new set when all the offbrand stuff was talked about, so don't worry
this is my first time watching the podcast from start to finish, and not listening to it beforehand, and holy shit that was amazing
Really professional, really funny & really creative!! Amazing way to start a podcast!!
That set reveal was amazing
This got me feeling emotions a podcast should never make me feel
@Larisa's Podcast uh im not sure what I would talk about
The amount of effort but into the set and their makeup is insane

thanks! haven't listened in a bit and this reminded me how great the pod was
honestly male victimhood of sexual assault is an issue that needs to be talked about and I really respect the boys for bringing it up :)
Every line of that opening sketch is masterful
That was the most epic beginning of any podcast that I've ever seen.
ayooo the skit is AMAZING, the studio is sooo cool
This skit is so good I cant tell if its real or not wtf. Please dont end, only pod ive ever watched/listened to.
Rewatching this, nicks one liner about putting the coffee in the Vespa is top 5
That was the greatest intro I’ve ever seen, round of applause for the yard bears 🐻
#32 is my fave ep... loved the story telling arc
slime belongs on camera, literally so goated
"you dont get to decide if a monkey had a good life" underrated passing line that is actually legendary
Although the opening will forever stand as one of the best skits from the yard, I will never be able to forgive the boys for making me think this was all over
This is goated, the effort you guy put in is insane. The skits are always 100/10
everyone worried at the prospect of ludwig riding a motorcycle is so funny
seriously really great work guys, love the show and all the bits and honest moments you guys had here. thanks for the time you put on each episode, its been really fun here.
Chocolate was so effortlessly cool. RIP Chocolate.
This sketch is not what drunk me expected from a Yard podcast, I love it.
I've never clicked on a notification so fast
