I'm sitting here with my dog, watching two friends have a beautiful adventure in the crisp clear outdoor air of Maine, swimming in a peaceful lake with the bright rays of sunshine knifing through the water, and I'm crying. Maybe it's the blissful piano soundtrack that sounds like something you'd hear in heaven, or the delicate interplay of man with raw nature, or maybe it's the winter loneliness of lockdowns...but this is exactly what I needed right now. Thank you for brightening up my life, at least for the 30 minutes I get to experience that adventure with you guys.
I think he needs to redo both of those, lol, jk... I think he and Greg make a good team and should do a lot more together, I wouldn't be disappointed if he and Greg did another Canadian rocky challenge but spent more time building a tree city and less moving around, and when it was during a stout hunting season, or bring live chickens 🐔 with them lol

Zach is the best. His faith and fun are the main reasons why I keep coming back. He always has a smile on his face even through rough times out in the field. That's the right attitude. You can complain about the: snow/rain, cold/heat, bugs, ect, or you can smile through it and look back on the experience knowing that you came out a better person. Challenging yourself in the field is one of the most rewarding things I've done and I wouldn't redo any of it

Hey Zac, loving the vids. If you really want to try something different with the fish remains, try this. Scale the fish first, then cut the fillets off as per normal, but don't throw away the skin. Instead, cut it in strips and fry in oil. It becomes fish crackle! Sorta like pork skin crackle. Its the best!

Agreed about the electric stoves! I've cooked on gas for the last 20 years and electric is literally the worst. There's actually a whole campaign out there currently trying to tell people the "dangers" of using residential gas stoves and I'm like... I'll take it as long as my food isn't charred or raw lol. Really interesting series you have here. Glad you showed up in my recommendations.
Man yall are so lucky you can just go swimming in lakes and rivers. I live in Florida and there is alligators and water moccasins everywhere, so I don't go swimming in lakes very often. I still go just gotta be careful where you go. God Bless yall stay safe

Love the raft was surprised to see your buddy through a live fish in the pan dont get me wrong I love hunting and fishing go out every chance I can as a matter 9f fact went out with the bow for the first time this season and bagged a doe but as for the fish to see it thrown in the hot pan alive was a little upsetting maybe next time just make sure to dispatch your game before cooking other then that keep up the awesome content love your survival challenges csnt wait for the next episode
You might already be doing this but all the tubs can be used as storage I would think if you cut a hole/door over the tub on the deck. Easy way to free up room on deck rt?

Might I recommend a few reflectors around edges in 2.0.
The ice shack is covered in them so she dose stick out but ya more would be good. and it be easy to have solar lights to make it even more visible.

The only problem I can see with this is ensuring it is properly sealed when it rains. You don't want those tubs filling with water when it rains.

Idea for 2.0 - Clear totes will let you see if they ever leak.
Clear totes tend to be brittle.
Could always glue the lid and tote together to ensure it's a sealed unit.

That or use spay foam to seal in the bottom all the way and use flex seal for the top so water doesn't fill the tubs. Can't wait for episode 3
