How do you do the calibration on the xy shifter I’m having issues with my international prostar it got stuck in 10 gear while driving then after I shut off the truck and let it reset it was good for a day next day it was showing blinking F while I was shifting through the gears but it was shifting smooth and the blinking F stops after blinking for 15 min while driving ,on the dash it showing Gen trans Flt and when I turn the key to ignition it’s showing code 88. Any information would be helpful thank for your time
Hi checking to see did you find out the problem with your truck, mine is also getting stuck in 10 and when I stop turn it off and back on it will work again.
@@ISLANDTRUCKER sorry brother for the late replay my problem was the clutch! i just did the adjustment my self and since then i havent had that problem allson i did replace the wiring harnes on the transmition
Hey buddy i have freightliner cascadia 2012 Etn transmission the service plinks with F plus chen trans light flashing! Truck moving but when it stopped it won't moving again do you kwon by any chance what's causing the problem? Thanks
How do I know if my xy shifter is bad, I'm not getting any codes. Im having these issues intermittently, sometimes it won't shift up or down. Example I'm on the interstate in 10 gear, exit the interstate and it will not down shift I have to come to a complete stop turn the truck off then back on and it will shift. I dont have a clutch pedal. I have the padel shifter on the steering column. I also notice you xy shifter points towards the front and the driver side. Mine point towards the front and the passenger side. What's the difference between the two?
I'm sorry if I sound weird, cause I'm not a truck driver and I don't really understand anything in trucks. I have a question. My father is a truck driver and his truck wouldn't go into gear. F of the dashboard. Code 27. He has a brand new Reman transmission (9000$ total), installed it in a shop a month ago. He also has Eaton autoshift. He tried replacing speed sensor, nothing still. Checked battery connectors, the same. What can be the issue?

ISLAND TRUCKER your problem is the solenoid closer to the end of the transmission

I have the same problem.. How did you get it fixed what did changed? I don't trust them guys at the shop their prices are sky high

Changing the xy shifter like in the video as well as the clutch. I'm currently having the same problem.
