As much as we think our life has no script we keep getting reminded that it does not but that it simultaneously does. Riding this duality with acceptance, love, poise, fear, compassion, joy, anger, empathy,....we remember that we are the rider, the ride, everything that seems to be still around us, the distant mountains, and the breeze our faces.

I came across Tara and her book, Radical Acceptance, about a month ago and It's giving me so much strength through a very difficult time. I feel seen after a long time. Thank you for your calming presence, your wisdom and humility, Tara. You're helping so many with your generous, healing words. Frank, you were so tender and kind here too! Thank you both for sharing this knowledge and helping people get back in touch with their true selves.

I listened more and got an answer to my question. I recognize the observer as not the emotion, not by numbing out to an illusion of self imposed enlightenment but as an integration of all parts of being, including the light and dark. 🙏🏻

Oh my god, the lady who asked the question read my mind. I'm in the same boat as my mom-advanced multiple sclerosis. A stroke that left her bedbound on 12/17. She cannot move, talk, eat

Question: when we recognize and allow, say anger and despair, do I give those emotions more power when I acknowledge them?

You summed me up failure unworthy lonely
Something wrong with me angry fearful not OK.
    Need access to presence??
    Recognise
    Allow
    Investigate
    Nurture
    First just pause.
    Recognise..what's happening here
    Name the feelings.
    Allow the reality.
    Feel it in your body
    Saying yes to felt
    experience.
    Never abandon yourself
Be a loving mother to your insides.
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world.
That's exactly what Im dismayed about
And other people thinking I'm making a big deal out of nothing. It's not that bad it's just your imagination.
If I'm away from people there would be no friction
No one telling me I'm a fool to be dismayed by the evil in the world.
But I had to get it out
    talk to someone about it.
Best to find someone to share with other than family and friends.
Must learn to be that someone I talk to about it
Because there is no one else who cares to hear it.
Be intimate with myself like when in love
    Want to know self.
    Let go
    of knowing
    Winning the argument
    Being right
    Accept
    the silence
    Surrender
    Cease struggle and resistance
    For dying ?
    what about for living?
    Loving
    Meeting empathetic people.
    How
    Where
    When

You aren't alone, there's countless people like us the same yet for some reason never find each other. Why? I do not know. Not for lack of trying. Know there are countless just like you. Blessings 🙏🏻

@@sandybrownonyt I can see you are sensitive and care about the well-being of yourself and others. When your mind says negative stuff, breathe and be kind to it, remember you don't need to believe thoughts, they are real, but not truth. Blessings 🙏🏻
