How do I ask for a high taper like this, most high tapers aren’t like that behind the ears. Is there a way I can ask for a high taper like that behind the ears so it’s all like more high if that makes sense. Basically a simpler way is how would I ask for this exact haircut. This cut is super 🔥
I think it all has to do with where your barber starts his bald line. I try to do mine from the bottom of the front vertical bar over to the top of the round of the ear.

So the half guard won’t cut a lot off
The half guard is weird, you don’t necessarily hear the hair being cut, but somehow it’s just blends that bottom line out.
One guard closed against the grain right
Yes, after I hit the top line with a .5 guard closed, down with the grain
