I FINALLY figured that out! I thought the zero was the “Wahl .5 guard”, then I realized there was an Andis 0. We are good to go now

Like the way you blend with a number going with the grain I do this all the time and my work mates say you shouldn’t blend hair like that but I find it just gets the bulk out and makes it easier to blend in w clipper scissor comb when your ready I trim the top like that sometimes as with crops and short slick backs
It’s a technique that works great in certain situations and hairstyles or textures, but you can screw it up quick if you don’t watch what your doing lol.

@@samuelpritchard9097, say the top of your fade is a 3 guard, I would start with using that same guard going with the grain, and you will probably find yourself using a 2 guard before you really notice the results you’re looking for. You almost want to float it through the hair, don’t be heavy handed with this technique.

That's wassup bro, nice cut. I have that same setup (blades) on my 50 cals and they're my go tos. I'm actually dropping a comparison video today against the cordless and corded masters.
I never did pick up the cordless Masters. Couldn’t make myself pay for them early on, and then I noticed a lot of barbers saying they got loud on them.

I've modified my wahl senior into the clear plastic see through casing but the motor is reidicously loud the clipper cuts great but the noise is unbearable how do you go about minimising the sound coming from the modified clipper?
I bought a StyleCraft Ergo. Quietest clippers in the game, and you can modify it with pretty much any blade combo you want!
Its the clear case bro its been know to make the clipper louder has nothing to do with the motor, try switching back to the original and see if it makes a difference
I also have the stylecraft ergo best clipper hands down
Watching your channel grow is so satisfying. You're killing it man, the half attack system is a gamechanger for sure! Also how do you sanitize the baby brushes between clients?
👊🏼, appreciate your support so much! I use one baby brush for my clippers and one for clients. I try to spray a little alcohol on them as offer as possible.
@@TheBarberPhil Thanks for the response brother! Do I dip em in barbercide or would the alcohol be enough? Whatabout the extra hair that gets stuck in it?
@@shanur I keep a can of canned air (duster) on my station, so I’ll blow out any hair and then mist it. I think barbercide could or would erode the plastic and make it eventually crack

Im using wahl and babyliss would Andis clipper help with my fades ?
Just depends on which guards you prefer. I tend to prefer the purple Andis guards when cutting black hair.
See ive had the Andis pro and felt cheap and didn't like the power switch so been using magic clip and senior and mainly my babyliss pro

The reason the andis 1/2 doesn’t take the line and the wahl 1/2 does is because the wahl 1/2 guard cuts way too short
I finally figured out that I keep calling the Andis guard wrong. At first I thought the .5 was the shortest and then I realized that there was a new 0 guard that mimics the Wahl .5 guard
This cut is blended blurry.. Shear work was on point...
