Holy crap man. That type of audience member has to be a complete nightmare for a standup. I think going on the offensive is the only option and if anything, you were way too nice to that guy. Good on you.
His jokes are really bad, though. They're all generic, obvious, lazy jokes you would expect to hear from a child who's trying to tell jokes he found online to his parents, except they're even worse. Have you ever heard the saying the lower the iq the easier amused? Some of us aren't 5. Otherwise, we'd be as hysterical as you. Brendan Shaub is even funnier.

I'm 2 minutes in and I had to pause to leave a comment because I'm instantly fascinated. I didn't immediately realize what this video was going to be when I got the notification. I thought it was maybe an optimistic title for a shorter "special" that centered on crowd work? It didn't cross my mind that it might be a fantastic culmination of creativity, comedy, free time and spite. Sometimes I'm really amazed at how carefully zeroed in some of you guys are for exactly what makes me laugh. Creating a mini-documentary surrounding one specific interaction with one specific guy is the kind of thing someone daydreams about to themselves in the shower. I'm so excited to watch the rest of this.
