call me biased but i think TGCF has the most beautiful adaptations. the original novel and its original story is beyond breathtaking. every release in every languages has their very own beautiful covers. The donghua, the manhua, the audio drama and soon to be live action (although we only get previews, but the set and the actors is too beautiful to be on the human realm). we are indeed blessed by heaven (and a ghost king).

This song makes me feel so sappy😭😭 Which is great because that is how all of the other TGCF songs make me feel. With all of the TGCF songs that have been released, they all discuss basically Hua Cheng’s devotion to Xie Lian, the problems Xie Lian has faced, and their love for one another. But they all show it in different ways so it never gets tiring. Absolutely love TGCF songs

Just saying this as a Chinese media fan, _this_ is exactly how amazing the audio dramas are on MaoEr FM! They’re still quite underrated in the west, but so many of them come with just gorgeous artwork and are, of course, the most faithful to the source adaptation, and all the VAs work so hard. I’m just always obsessed with how the songs come with animated artwork, and how much meaning is put into the art and the lyrics to create poetic beauty. One of my favourites is the Erha audio drama, which is actually _fanmade_ yet still also so high quality. The VAs for Erha constantly provide their voices for various fan songs focusing on Chu Wanning and Mo Ran, and all the people behind these music videos just do such a phenomenal job. I loved the MDZS audio drama for this exact reason (along with us getting extras and behind-the-scenes bloopers/interviews), and I’m glad TGCF fans now get to taste something so great too! Now, if only SVSSS could get more audio drama content too…hahaha… Ah well, at least Wu Lei (Shen Qingqiu’s donghua VA) also voiced Yan Wushi, who-along with Shen Qiao-already have a really great Qian Qiu audio drama. 🥲 But yeah, these are the reasons I will always recommend Chinese audio dramas. They’re allowed to be a lot more blatant with the gay, but in general they’re just also absolutely amazing high quality!

Oh my gosh! My favorite novel is finally getting an audio drama. This is amazing from the music, to the art, everything! It is so beautiful and flows so well together. Especially, the music it suits it the audio drama/story to the T. I have always wanted this since I found out about TGCF and now I can’t believe it’s happening.
