Thanks for the video! Just a quick question - NO causes vasodilation - won't that mean blood is moving slower? Therefore there's more time for diffusion to occur? Just wondering where my thinking is going wrong... thanks!
First time watching your videos, very clear and informative, I'm a 3rd year med student, anything that helps me prep for step is great. I can understand you great. I speak English and Spanish, no problemo mi amigo!!! Rock on!! Mary
Medications will have this affect too. any potent vasodilators can cause this type of shunt. so if you find yourself needing to go up on your vasodilators AND your O2, maybe consider a different method to control their BP✌️ (beta blocker) or a different type of vasodilator
I've been following most of this protocol and in a month my IGG for HSV2 went from a 3.67 to a 2.9 !!!! Time to go hard with this shit and knock it out . Thank you DoctorOrias.....

It's nt no time for gases exchange its is tht more amount of blood present as compared to ventilation... Mixing occurs.. Resulting to shunt..
Dr Himani Palariya makes more sense.
Agree
Thanks for clearing my doubt
In actual it is no time for gaseous exchange which causes increase in perfusion of lung.. Thus v/p ratio changes and shunt occurs

Great explanations but the voice is annoying 🥲
Ok
The pedantic, smarmy attitude is a distraction. Good info but please change your tone of voice. It's insulting.
Ok
