Okay, but there is an actual Disney animation of Goofy's "origin story" of how he as a character was basically drafted into the fold for his absurd laugh during a film in a movie theatre (if anyone happens to remember which one I'm referring to, feel free to drop that somewhere). Whilst being interviewed and coerced into signing the big ol contract as a Disney character, he initially signs it as "Disney Dog." Then they get into the whole speil of having his name, of course, be GOOFY. There's more after that, but it's stuff that's just... entirely irrelevant. So it IS canonically confirmed that he is in fact a cartoon canine.

The first two were so bad, then the animation and beatboxes started getting really good. I still listen to the last 3 episodes of season 1 regularly because the beatboxes are so good

Though Joker did call Ase an imposter in the previous Loss Reaction because he noticed the animation change with Ase’s teeth without actually knowing it was an animation change, so I wonder if they’ll get to know the truth in the future. 🤔
