Hello. Is it easy to get a job offer for physiotherapists after passing written PCE exam from India? Please suggest. I am about to start my credentials for CAPR.
@@movementmastersphysio_50 thank you for your reply. I would also like to ask the institution you enrolled in for the Canadian Healthcare course? Did you enroll in the course before or after you received your credentialing result? Thanks again.
After doing masters in sport or msk from india how to come canada, should we give exam and start work on work visa over ther or do some courses and come on student visa...after masters whats the procedure
Hi Pooja, I believe my PT qualification from Germany (not bachelors) is substantially different to Canadian. Does that mean I cannot apply to do the PCE, are there bridging programs? What would it cost if there are? (The way to get an international bachelors degree would be doing an extra two years of classes which are mostly virtual at a German school although they usually require atleast 3yrs work experience just to start) Should I bother going through the credentialing process if I already know that my qualification is substantially different? If I should what would I get out of it (after paying that much for the process) Would coming to work on a work permit as a PTA be something to look at in my situation? Would earning as much as a PTA does there be enough to live a comfortable life in Toronto for example? Do salaries change depending on which city one lives? I would really appreciate a reply! Is there a way to work towards being a PT while already there working as a PTA?
Pooja Vyas PT thank you for the reply. Do you have the email address of CAPR, I can’t seem to find it on their website. Also would I still be able to apply for express entry in my situation? What about working in Hamilton, I hear it’s abit more affordable.
Hiii thank u soo much for this information and for u is it possible that you give me the name of reference book which you prefer on your written exam in ortho , cardio, neuro subjects If possible please share the name of that book

Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC) is the accredited assessment authority for overseas practitioners. There are 3 types of pathways that can be taken to be a registered physiotherapist in Australia. 1- Standard assessment 2- Equivalence of Qualification 3- Assessment for skilled migration visas. I'm going through standard assessment and its pretty much same to PCE. You can have a look on their website. physiocouncil.com.au/overseas-practitioners/getting-started/

1. 3+ yr work exp and a good master's degree for good CRS score 2. Student visa for canada to get points for Canadian certificate, post that a job offer and 1 yr work exp would fetch you good score OR 3. Register as Canadian Physio by getting a license via PCE test to get points post then a you'll have to make your employer do some LMIA paperwork then get job offer + 1 yr work exp to get CRS points. OFC a 8,7,7,7 score in ielts Academic will help you qualify for express entry.
