I'M LITERALLY OBSESSED WITH THIS MV especially the color palette, I love it sososo much and the way it switches from warm to cool tones. Also I love how everything looks clean, tidy and linear in the beginning. Plus their visuals, the dancing, the editing etc. (like the punch transition and the part after that where jake is on the chair) this is one of my favourite music videos ever

The symbolism for the heat and the office connects to their lore. if vampires go in the sun they burn, so bc theyre at the office means theyre willing to burn themselves to be with their lover. hence the office is so hot it can cook a steak and even though there are ac's its still too hot. so they jump in the pool to cool down. the mv ends at night where they can be themselves for their lovers.
