I enjoyed the well put together professional presentation leading straight into entirely relatable figured bass consternation. You've gone significantly further than most students who aren't early music specialists. Even still, you'll really struggle to find the soul and energy of baroque music on your instrument. I'm noticing this is just a trend with modern instrumentalists. Actually playing a sackbut would help a little, but as you know sackbut never really did much outside of choral accompaniment because it's just not naturally agile. When I started learning recorder, my perception of baroque changed entirely and I began to realise that most modern instruments really can't execute baroque music very well, they're just too heavy-handed and it leads to stiff interpretations, unnatural ornamentations, and romantic approaches. If you want to take your historically informed performance to the next level, take up a period instrument, the cross-training will pay ridiculous dividends. I always recommend any musician pick up alto recorder - the top level plastic ones are still so inexpensive and open up a world of music to explore with a high skill ceiling but easy learning curve. Even playing this particular Telemann is worlds different between modern and period instruments and suddenly the period practices will start to make so much more sense in a way that you can translate back to your modern instruments.
