I got lost in this area, using Google maps in October 2014, Cape Town to Kathu (all alone). I had no idea what was waiting for me. Found it strange that no one else was on this road, I only passed one farmer with a 4x4 bakkie the entire road. I was driving a 1996 Mazda Midge. I must admit... one of the scariest experiences in my life

Is the botteekloof pass area a relic of a meteorite that could have hit the area a long time ago
