- I Dismantled and Rebuilt an Very Old 600-Liter Saltwater Aquarium
At the request of the friend who bought this aquarium, which has been used for many years, I completely disassembled it and made a freshwater aquarium with a side sump system.
This process is very tiring and actually dangerous,
I was very tired to clean the broken glass, well-adhesive silicone and pipes by removing them.
But the Result was Very impressive and the owner was very happy about it

Glass thickness 12 mm
Should be make link lower and upper?
You won't need it if you shoot nice and sturdy silicone.

Been trying to do this on a 65 gallon i found that has a bad panel.... I cant even get a thin razorblade between the panels. Causing little chips on the giod panels when i try to force it. Literally no idea how im gonna get this thing apart.

hi, is there any chemical product or acid that can melt down the silicon so that it will be easier to dismantle the old aquarium glasses instead of using sharp blades ?
No, but razor blades usually works better than work knife blades.
