So I got really into Cluster repairs and other auto electronics on the gmt800s mostly through an initial desire to customize my own truck with IPC Hammer to watching a bunch of you and jeffs videos and now doing customer clusters been buying more and more tools for this type of work. It's honestly been one of the most positive developments of my life. I'm wondering as someone who is enjoying board work what's a good thing to expand on from auto electronics?
I been using these type of LEDs for 03-07 I love them you can get leds blind spots if you cut the small side walls found on the white plastic, by the speedo gauge
so i did the cluster swap from a caddy into my 05 z71 -- everything works great but since i dont have rear disc brakes the cluster tells me to check for them -- is there a way to turn this off???
Awesome video Matt. Cough Cough Lighthouseleds.....no datasheets or ESD packaging on small orders. Definitely not what you'd expect from a vendor that only deals in LED's/diodes and literally has LED in their name.
So I can’t seem to find an email for you on your channel anywhere. Am I missing something? I would like to get some information from you about sending you my cluster for repairs and upgrades. Thanks in advance!
Very Good information Thank-you for your time and effort
No problem. Glad you like it and find it informative

Hopefully, I get back into the swing of making videos!

Hey I'm not name dropping but there is good chance that's who sold those ones I showed lol
I bought lighthouse leds on ebay. super cheap chinese junk that starts flickering in 2 months. I did a LOT of warranty replacements.
Have you tried the imbevious led bulbs
Does it have to be the 0804 style of resistor or can it be a through hole style resistor ?
Are you still doing these repairs? I use to follow you on Facebook but I can’t find your page anymore. I’m local to the area
Do you know what leds the warming lights are? I would like to have them all the same color
99-02 are through hole LEDs
could you possibly by chance point me in the direction to 07 gm cluster mother board schematic
Hey what’s up brotha, do mind putting the link on here for the cluster bulbs and the link for the resistors as well
what do you think about using LED strips?
Do you do any work on the 90s mazda/mistubishi ecms?
I don't
That beard is looking good
Thanks I'm actually probably going to trim it down soon
