Cold and windy and a little bit of snow here as well. I only do gifts for my grandkids and great grandkids. I also have asked for our kids /grands to not buy us anything. We need nothing. It had gotten to the point there I would give them a $25.00 gift card and they would give us a $25.00 gift card.... Let's every one just save their own money. LOL. I did a bit more decluttering today and it's really breathing some fresh air into my life and home. I have open spaces in closets now. I recharged my rechargeable batteries and then moved one of my battery operated motion lights to a more convenient place and also put some more rechargeable strip lights on our staircase. I'm trying to make our house safer for us to age in place. I'm also at the point of just avoiding shopping and stores to avoid spending. I just need to stay off Amazon. LOL. I'm trying to simplify as much as possible. My husband and I were big X Files Fans too!

We had a little bit of snow today about 2 inches or so in Massachusetts. It was really pretty so I made sure I went out today because I’ve been staying in except for my walking for exercise. I made it a point to go to the bank and then I decided to go and get a few groceries. Not much now mind😊 you everything is five minutes away from my house, which is a blessing, but I really enjoy talking to the people at my bank and then go to Price chopper and talking to them there. I took my time and I came back home and ate and then I did my weight exercises. I took Otis out for a walk around the complex, came back in and did stuff around the house . It started snowing in the afternoon and then I actually went out and cleaned my car off and shoveled around my car this evening. Then I brought some fudge over to my neighbors that I had made, came back in and settled in for the night. I needed to get out to be with people today and that’s what I did😊 Tomorrow I have my prayer meeting at the church with my ladies. We meet every other week for that or we meet on Zoom. But lately I’ve been going down to the church and my daughter goes also. I will hand out my Christmas presents to them so I don’t have to do it on Sunday.
