How to make your vintage single speed pop, get attention, hold value, and look all business, not like you only had a few parts and built a single speed on the cheap with an old 9 speed chain and left over cog off some worn out cassette, don't be a simp, man up and build it right!

YES!!! I've made the mistake twice putting a single pully tensioner into push down mode - my knees and privates still wince at the thought... On the chain 3:32 chains are fine - but it should be a SS specific chain (and half links and half link chains suck)

I have 4 chain tensioners, all point down with absolutely no issue. Side note, no zip tie needed!🫢

Sometimes that works, sometimes not, the larger the rear cog the better it works but more chain overlap the better, imo. Go ride!
