@@DutchThriceman The "Shadow Realm" is made up by 4Kids to get around whatever censorship laws the US had when it aired back then Pretty smart idea to get YGO aired on TV tbh
They were banished to hell in the Japanese version (stated by Bakura), while still alive. So either they died to something in there at some point, are just constantly hiding and surviving on scraps, or are making themself useful by carrying out deeds for a wicked being in there. I'm assuming regardless they were released (and revived if they did die in there) and came back when Bakura lost to Yami Marik in their Shadow Game game, since it seems all the penalties you inflicted are revoked if you lose in a Shadow Game. That or they were brought back when Zork died with Yami Bakura fully.

and I'm talking about the card GAME itself not the shows.
Why doesn’t magic and Pokémon have this issue?
My boyfriend hasn’t played mtg since 2006 and looking at Bloomburrow cards now it all makes sense it’s all the same speed it’s all the same general vibe, yugioh has to have ban lists on their own shit and somehow the player base is way dirtier and degen than every other card game
and then I attack and I win, right?
Joey god
Yesssir!!! NGL MTG is fun but YGO is where it’s at. (Not really)
How old is this video? I could swear mystic mine is banned in all formats
Over a year old.
@@johnnyclawson9129 I see, cause the video was a few hours old i got confused
Yugioh is awesome idc I love it
Are the old cards worth anything? played from day 1 but stopped at link summons. all my old cards have un edited effects though so not sure their playable. CED's effect is very different now.
If they are first edition yeah
@@TheAwesomeCouch First Ed CED, first Ed Yata, for sure the rest I'd have to check, is there a site you would recommend?
Depends. Goat format and Edison are popular formats. Pack filler cards are obviously worthless but if you have cards that are playable then they can go for quite a bit.
Yooooo the redtube video I rememeber
glad there's no yugiohdle
