Brilliant game as always, I love the fact the punjabs kept the Japanese at bay, eventually succumbing to pressure, orderly withdrawal, nice narrative. Can’t wait for the next chapter. P.s. makes me think focussing all fire on the at assets is a must.
Great report Travis. Can't wait to see how this story unfolds. Good job 👍. Always fun to watch. 😁
So excited for this campaign. Love it when you guys visited less popular fronts of WW2 like North Africa and the Far East. What about an Italy campaign next?
Your board layouts are fantastic
Great job Gents! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful to watch. Thanks for sharing!
Dude, those rice paddies look incredible
Good show!
I’ve watched probably 10+ chain of command battle reports. This was a great fun battle to watch but there barely ever seems to be much movement.
Obviously charging through the open gets you destroyed, but can you use fire and maneuver with this game?
What am I missing it always seems stagnant.
You are not wrong. Movement on foot is not easy. First you need the command dice to activate which isn’t always a given. Then the move distance is random, then you start reducing that with shock. It’s east not to be able to move far.
I'm curious about your method of using sand for terrain, e.g. roads, streams/rivers, and in this case rice paddies (as opposed to, say, felt). It looks good, but isn't it a pain to clean up? How much to you lose each game (presumably there's some left on the mat that you just shake off)?
I just shake the mat off outside. I don’t try to save any of it. It comes off the mat east and doesn’t leave any on it
Seems wasteful
@@TSSFJake not like there is a sand shortage. You can get 50 pounds for like 10 bucks. Last forever.
Did I miss it, or did the IJA not use their Ruse (I don't play CoC, so hopefully not a dumb question)?
We never did use the ruse. Never really had a chance.
