Just a trivia though, Regine also dominated the movies and tv scenes in her prime. She starred in an episode of a heavy drama TV series called "Maala ala mo Kaya" where she was awarded as Best Actress. To date, that episode is still the highest rated episode in that tv series history. She was also hailed as BOX OFFICE QUEEN for her movie "Kailangan Koy Ikaw" on the same year it was produced. It's one of the most regarded romantic films in PH cinema history. So in conclusion, Regine literally dominated all media marking her as the BEST SELLING FILIPINO ARTIST OF ALL TIME. Oh you should see the movie. So far, it was my most fave Regine movie. Recently, ABSCBN remastered the film to make it appear new. It was a big deal movie because Piolo was from ABSCBN and Regine was from GMA. Two competing giants.
I hope you’ll get to interview regine. You will understand fully why she sings like that , even sitting down in a mermaid form or stooping, her voice quality never changes .
Piolo has definitely improved his singing from what I remember he wasn’t that impressive but now wow I was really impressed with how well he was able to keep us with Regine

Paano Kita Iibigan was a song witten by Regine Velasquez husband, Ogie. Piolo and Regine had their movie which was entitled as the same title of the song. The movie was indeed good. They're both great in terms of acting.

I think Ogie composed this. He's usually funny on TV but he composes great ballads. Piolo is a great actor who can sing decently, at least. He doesn't sound comfortable singing songs that are not ballads. Still, like Waleska said, it's not fair to look so good and be good in many things, too (LOL!)

Ano ang pumipigil sa damdamin at sa puso mo = What hinders you from giving it to me
Maghihintay ako sabihin mong mahal mo na ako = I will wait until you say you love me too
Oh btw, I think Efra will love and remember the last phrase of the song. It says "Mahal mo rin ako (Mahal mo rin ako)" it directly translates to "You love me too". Tagalog grammar is a bit little tricky because it depends on the sentence articles like "na" or "rin" on what the phrase really conveys. But don't worry Wale&Efra, your tagalog is now activated! No turning back now! 😊
Fun fact: Remember Sharon Cuneta? The lady who sang with Michael Bublé..she's a blockbuster movie star for decades. She sang all of her OST in her movies. I have watched this movie for about 3 times already. Piolo is soooo hot in this movie😅 i love their chemistry on screen. It was started on their MMK episode entitled lobo, where Regine won her best actress on TV, their chemistry is 👌🏼.

I have not watched the movie and yeah I think you're right Waleska. In the song, it seems like they are in love with each other but somehow they can't seem to love each other. Please do check other works of Piolo Pascual especially Kailangan Kita, you will fall inlove wit him even more. He is indeed the ultimate matinee idol. He acts, he sings and he is actually a good guy.
@4:49 on that note, "nagkukubli't nagtatago" has been contracted, its original form would be "nagkukubli at nagtatago" which means (hiding and hiding), yes, it's redundant per se, but it's deemed necessary for that particular stanza to have its rhyme in the end (in tagalog "tugma').
