@@Fishermanshaven2023 Hey thanks for the question! I Got my Pump from Canadian tire, don’t know if you have that store where you are from, but that adapter came with the kit. It’s called the moto master marine lower unit gear oil pump. You may be able to look them up on Amazon and find something similar. But I can see how that adapter would make it easy to do a pressurized leak test. Hope that helps!

Fantastic, I just got a 55 and this is very helpful. I can't get it to go into reverse, is this something you could show?

Thanks for the comment! I could show it, I will try my best to explain it here, i would try adjusting that Rod that connects to the lower end, it’s got that Nut on it I would start there I believe I have that in a different video that may help you out.

Yo , i just got an old 55 "1968" and i definitely need to replace the seals on the crank case and a gear cuz the bearings are completely rusted. Any idea where i can get the parts? The oldes parts i can find are 1973.

Honestly I have no clue where to start looking for parts. My best advice is to measure the seals and bearings that you need, and do a quick search on google or Amazon of the dimensions of the part you need. There might be another motor or something that uses those parts but just don’t list them as fitting. Thats where I have found my best luck finding parts.
