- Hi friends, back to working on the 856 front end. Left side was a pain in the hiney. Sit back and watch as Kylie and I start on it and what it takes to finally get it apart. Thanks for watching.

Kylie is an amazing young lady. I'm paralyzed since a 09 accident. You just amaze me how you have adapted. I'll pray for you to be healed of the cancer.

I cracked on when I was a kid . Went over a washout disking and never new it . Just luckily my grandad seen it next day . 806 1970 . That’s a hell job .

It's good to know that adjustable axles sticking isn't just an Oliver problem. When in doubt, burn it out! Seeing the bottle of window cleaner reminds me of something. My cousin had to pull a broken spindle on his manure tank and a neighbor stopped by to lend a hand. He said to use Windex to get that spindle out. They got some sprayed it on there, and my cousin says it made a huge difference. I haven't tried it yet, but I don't see where it can hurt.

It amazing how things like that front end can get froze up so bad glad to see you out and about I went through some chemotherapy years ago and my shop was my safe heaven wife bought me a lathe and boy that was the best medicine I could have gotten took my mind off every thing, your an amazing man Andy and I know with out a shadow of doubt you are going to beat this we'll keep praying for you may God bless you and keep you well

Kylie gave the wahoo on the end, don't know why but her doing that always puts a smile on my face. You'll like the Firestone sat 2's . I put 18.4 on my 706 and they grab pretty good even in the mud.

Hey Andy you're looking better, thank you so much great video so take your time however many videos you get out is however many you feel like getting out and that's okay with us. Kylie is an absolute treasure thank you Kylie for all the work that you put in not only on the production end have TH-cam but as a participant and a family member of the detwiler's special special thanks the cliff for coming on down and helping out and don't worry nobody's even looking at you with a pretty girl and the guy with no hands doing mechanic work there's no one looking at you LOL. Glad to see you getting around! I just got in from my 13th radiation treatment and the day 3 after my third chemo treatment, so I know exactly how you feel, I try and keep track of you as much as I can and still do as much as I can........ them dang axles can really be stubborn when they want! Hang in there, we both gonna beat our cancer! stay safe! Keith

Thanks Andy , Wow what a Bear of a job . You know you can buy a bead flex hone to run on the inside of the axle to take out all the rust and burrs , they are only around 50 bucks or so .

Andy,I have to say,Your daughter is outstanding . There are not to many teenagers now a days willing to do manual labor let alone a female. I can tell she really enjoys working with her Dad,too. I truly enjoy watching your video's. BTW: I have had two surgeries to remove malignant tumors from near my larynx with great success as I was diagnosed with advanced Stage 4. So if I can come through it,at 68,and go into remission,so can you. Give that daughter of your a huge pat on the back from Me. She's one of a kind.

Worked on a 1486 front end a couple years ago that hadn't been moved since it left the factory. I chained the spindle to the rear axle and used a ratcheting chain binder to PULL HARD while heating the outer tube and several 'taps' from a bath ... and it still took almost 2 hours to get it loose.
So good to see you back in the shop.

Well your battle with the IH 856 front end adjustment brought back some memories...all of them bad! I got so I dreaded the job. Sometimes it can be difficult to keep the spindle knees tight after heating the housing like that so be sure to use new clamp bolts. Shop is good therapy. I had some health issues back in '17 and reassembled a 3-53 Detroit an hour or two at a time. Spent the better part of a month at it.

Good to see you out doing some things. We started the spring off very dry but now I've turned very wet. Got the corn in the ground but have not started on beans hope you continue to feel well.
