I was at this house when it was new. As a child, it was amazing. My Father worked for Joe Silva at Ventury Homes and Durham Building supplies. Joe would always give me a $2 bill whenever I saw him. I have good memories as a kid. Nice to see this video!
I hope they salvage all the beautiful chandeliers, door knobs so many things from the 80s. Save the history save the life of this home share it with the world. It’s so beautiful why can’t they sell it instead of destroying it. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! What a beautiful mess! The 80's, the beginning of fake decor such as plastic chandeliers. Thanks for showing me this Noah... at 2x playback speed. 😉👍
How do you think the original owners must feel watchibg you going through their once beautiful house using the words “crazy, insane over and over again.
Beautiful house. Every time you mention the beautiful chandeliers all I can think of is “that would be pain to clean”. I guess if you can afford a house like that you would have staff to take care of cleaning it.
We had a house fire on Memorial Day weekend several years ago. Like this house, the fire department saved most of our home. What you are seeing in most of this house is smoke and heat damage. The fire was contained to the stairway area, which is fortunate. In reality, it was a very small fire considering the size of the house. Smoke can travel to every corner and crevice in the house. The spider webs show up due to the smoke. Great video by the way.
In answer to your question Noah I could have lived in that beautiful house too. The fire damage was extensive, surprised the whole place didn't go especially once it gets in the walls. I too liked the parkay flooring and the sunflower tile floors. Awesome, thank you I like your comments through the video on what you like throughout the house!
Been watching your videos for a couple years now, and I love so many of them. But this one was "next level" with the demolition footage at the very end. Wow. Great stuff.
Noah, I just love your videos! 😊 I grew up in the 80's and 90's in Ontario and remember all of the wallpaper strips, wood trim and beautiful brick. It always I'd a walk down a nostalgic lane that I enjoy. Thank you for sharing! 💛
I can't even imagine living in a house with all that outdoor living space. Really love the design. I'm sure they threw some spectacular parties there. The size of what is better called a parking lot than driveway says they were certainly entertainers.
I would love to live in this house! I always think of the people who lived there and the memories they created! I have the ball light fixtures in my bathroom! 😂😂 Thanks for the tour!
What a feast of visual opulence , a perfect home what a shame it’s going to be demolished Thank you for taking us on your exploration Noah , safety first though 🥰
Love the staircase love the flooring love the shape of the house on the crown mouldings I would love to do the ceiling with gold leaf and white 🤍 paint 🎨 gorgeous home 🏡
And do we know WHY the arson happened? Was it just some pyromaniac setting it on fire for shits n giggles?? 41:01 but this room is my absolute favorite feature of the house. It has so much character.
Such a shame someone felt the need to set the p lace on fire. It was really a huge, nice home too bad it ended its life as a really good video. I dont think i like progress much when it comes to housing, seems likeeverything is being torn down for, cheaply built, over priced craker boxes that will fall apart in ten years. Thanks, Noah
Outside of house, Gorgeous, inside Horrid the fire damage. Salute the fireman for containing the way they did. Sad, those greedy developers, & the fools supporting them, buying those non lasting cracker boxes of a house..
YES ! I would live there. I love beautiful flooring; wallpaper; windows & architecture ! I don't think they build houses this good anymore. In the early 1980's, things were still cheaper and affordable. So the materials & supplies to build this place, probably weren't that high in price. And men doing construction were paid much less than today. By far.
I think you're confused what untouched means. It doesn't mean completely empty. It doesn't mean burned down. It doesn't mean vandalized. It means a time capsule. It means, everything is left, hence, it being untouched. Hence it being untouched, just as it was left/ abandoned. Thank you
Some people cannot accept the facts of a true capitalistic society and are jealous of other people that are successful in reaching the American Dream. Only in this country can a person work and study hard and become successful, but today we are losing that freedom. Time to wake up people because you could be next. God Bless and thanks for a splendid video. 1776
It's hard to fathom or understand all these properties you visit are all being bought up by developers and leveled. There must be some kind of phenomenal , unbridled growth going on in your area. Is it too much, going to go bust eventually ?
Canada is going through a massive housing crisis, where there are not enough houses for the people who want to buy them. As a result, prices are out of control and old properties are getting bought up left and right to be redeveloped instead of renovated.
Great video Noah! Why would anyone want to set fire to that mansion? Sad, and I hope he's in jail! The place sits on a beautiful huge property. But the only thing I like inside the house is the flooring (not a fan of 70;s and 80;s decor)!
I don’t understand the mindset of a person who destroys property. For what reason? That was a beautiful well built home that could have lasted another 50 years.
That court is for tennis, but an odd place for it because you would have to remove the net to access the garage which is probably why the net isn't up.
What happened to your Signature intro... I haven't watched your videos for a while and am catching up and noticed your cool musical intro is gone? That was like the signature to your videos :) :)
It’s disturbing that something so beautiful is allowed to be reduced to rubble. How can these people even sleep at night, those people that earn money to destroy. Just don’t get it!
It's so sad to know that this magnificent house is now rubble in a land fill. Those hardwood floors at 10:00 and 13:36 are truly unique. This place is my dream home, I'd live there in a heartbeat. Let's hope that karma catches up with the arsonist so that they pay for their actions. Thank you for preserving it in pictures.❤
I do not endorse taking anything but when these houses are abandoned and set to be tore down I really wish more was saved I mean lights molding anything should be saved or at least people who can use the items should take it just seems horrible useful items are just Goin to a landfil
Noah In answering your question would I live here. Yes I would. This is truly a tragedy. This house was so beautiful why would anyone want to burn it down? You never said if they caught the arsonist. I hope they did. It was set to be demolished anyway so why burn it down. Must have been some nut. Noah you always say get a bidet it will change your life. Are you speaking from experience? LOL🤣 Thank you for showing us this once beautiful mansion. It was sad to see it being demolished. Keep on bringing us all your best work and you will make 100K in no time. Stay safe and well.
Large. Houses built to order for a very particular person, they’re hard to sell. So much weird detail everywhere. Where would you find someone with similar taste? Best to scrap it.
Everyone has their own opinion but there's nothing in that house worth saving, however, I did like the room above the garage and balconies facing the backyard. I just don't get the huge driveway. Even houses 3 times bigger don't have that much asphalt unless they were using it for commercial use.

Same thing I thought
What a crime to demolish that house 😢
Wow! What a beautiful mess! The 80's, the beginning of fake decor such as plastic chandeliers.

Hi Noah from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲👋 I like watching your videos 👍😎
Beautiful house. Every time you mention the beautiful chandeliers all I can think of is “that would be pain to clean”. I guess if you can afford a house like that you would have staff to take care of cleaning it.
Wow that house and property are so beautiful. What a crazy jump in price

Really nice home! Thanks for sharing as usual!!
It’s an incredible house. It’s a shame it will be destroyed. I ❤it.
They sure did have some money, wow, the brick around the fireplace was awesome.
Such a beautiful house, such a shame about the arsonist causing all that damage and so sad to see it being demolished 😢
Place looks beautiful.
Let's go!!!
Love this property!!! Great find Noah!! 😊

Hi Noah I’m a new subscriber! Beautiful home what a shame someone set It on fire 😞
Excellent video Noah Too bad it was burned & torn down I would have needed a map of the inside to live in it --- Debbie & Tiffany
Beautiful home, shame about the fire & damage. Loved the foyer & the chandeliers .
I would love to live in this house! I always think of the people who lived there and the memories they created! I have the ball light fixtures in my bathroom! 😂😂 Thanks for the tour!
What a beautiful home it's a shame that somebody caught it on fire

Love the staircase love the flooring love the shape of the house on the crown mouldings I would love to do the ceiling with gold leaf and white 🤍 paint 🎨 gorgeous home 🏡
That's a pickle ball court! Absolutely amazing house. Thanks for sharing

Probably. Brainless assholes.❤❤❤❤

Beautiful house. Shame it will be demolished burned or it.
Developers cannot stand to see open country.
So sad.
Thx 4 sharing
Well done

This is so beautiful
The Staircase Wow❤
It's sad to see people destroy something that was so beautiful💔
Wow,,beautiful foyer ❤

It's the tennis court just hasn't got the net up in the middle😊 love the chandelier above the main stairs 💞🤩
It is not a tennis court, it is actually a pickleball court.

Stunning
The light switch plates and door handles are Carriage House and were common and fairly cheaply priced so they definitely didn't splurge on that detail
It is so beautiful I would live there
Yes I agree It's Very Sad for the House!!!
Yes I would most definitely love to live there and own that house it's an amazing mansion ❤ 34:04

Super cool location. Too bad it couldn't be saved ....yet 🤔👀😳
Awesome
I don’t understand the mindset of a person who destroys property. For what reason? That was a beautiful well built home that could have lasted another 50 years.
I would Love to Live there❤
The end made me sad- you can just tell that it was a well built home.
Everything was “totally 80’s”…I love it.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful home before it sadly gets demolished. Totally took me back to my childhood (80’s gal here, lol).
Love the cobalt blue bathroom!! My favorite ❤️
Sad ending…but awesome share!!!
I grew up with and miss glass blocks too
This makes me physically ill that all of this was lost. 😢
Have a Beer 🍻
So really unbelievable about the demo of this house
That court is for tennis, but an odd place for it because you would have to remove the net to access the garage which is probably why the net isn't up.
It’s a great house but too much room for me. I would like a cozy cottage on the ocean. Great explore though. I just started watching your channel.
It’s Really Sad that it was Destroyed 😢😢
What happened to your Signature intro... I haven't watched your videos for a while and am catching up and noticed your cool musical intro is gone? That was like the signature to your videos :) :)
A lot of people were skipping past the intro based on the data I have on my end so I decided to remove it a while back
That looks like a badmington court 🏸outside the house 🙂
It’s disturbing that something so beautiful is allowed to be reduced to rubble. How can these people even sleep at night, those people that earn money to destroy. Just don’t get it!
This place is beautiful, too bad it’s getting demolished. 😮

Beutifull house
OMG.. I would love to live their, but not in that condition..
Yeah that is a damn shame what a beautiful place. Noah is there any information on who did this?
Not sure if anyone answered this yet but the firefighters had to tear open the walls to make sure there weren’t any hot embers that could reignite.
Was the railing removed on the balcony? On the second floor.
I can’t deal with the wallpaper, wallpaper borders, glass blocks and gold accents ugh!
can this be bought and renovated to live in what will be the price including renovation
I remember when this house was built. When Joe sold it the taxes were approaching $10,000 /yr. and to heat this house would be outrageous.
Amazing place 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I do not endorse taking anything but when these houses are abandoned and set to be tore down I really wish more was saved I mean lights molding anything should be saved or at least people who can use the items should take it just seems horrible useful items are just Goin to a landfil
Sup from Kentucky
Can you share where in Bowmanville this is? Would love to check it out
Its doesn't exist anymore
@@NoahNowhere Ah damn, I'm in Durham Region so would have been cool to see. Enjoyed the video!
I would live there
I wonder how many times they slipped coming out of that tub with the tile steps
That's a Pickleball court. I have never seen a private court before and I didn't know Pickleball was even a thing back in the early 80s.
I would definitely live there what a shame it was catch on fire people suck. and now it will be knocked down 😔
Well hello 😊
Hello 😊
@8:32 - Count me in to the Insane 'Crown" Posse. There might be an Oriental tinge to that. I keed, I keed.
Noah
In answering your question would I live here. Yes I would. This is truly a tragedy.

Flagstone on basement fireplace. Very expensive!!
Awesome! I like how you DON'T selfie! That Asian urbex dude selfies way too much in his videos. :meh:
Storm pit under the garage!!!
Those blinds upstairs are the typical 80's green and mauve! Not meant to be Italian colors, pretty sure!
Large. Houses built to order for a very particular person, they’re hard to sell. So much weird detail everywhere. Where would you find someone with similar taste? Best to scrap it.
Aside from that why would anyone want to tear it down sad in my end of Canada the government makes them historical and they get repaired
