I desperately wanted an ROG 6 when I heard about it since it's packed with specs and features however I could muster up the high price tag. Ended up settling for a pixel 6a and while not in the same league, it saved me a ton of money
Your choice of the Pixel 6A is a great one and honestly with most of these devices, if you wait a little bit after launch, typically their prices will drop significantly. I've seen variants of the ROG phone 6 on Amazon for 680 so it's a matter of time not necessarily the product itself
@@TKBay yeah however I've found those discounted models to be the Tencent versions so they don't carry the same radio compatibility the US version does. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a US version though. Thanks

@@yournumberonepal I noticed. I actually thought about buying it however I found out that Asus is only providing 2 years of OS AND security updates for the ROG 6. That's completely unacceptable. The ROG 7 seems to have 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patching which is admittedly better but still behind the competition. If I can find a good deal on the rog 7, I might pull the trigger however with the current deals on the pixel 8 and 8 pro, those are almost no-brainers

you can change the Wallz but we don't get the effect except on the stock ones when Xmode is turned on

Hi, i'm looking to get this now that it's half off on amazon. I'm wondering if its possible to customize the backlighting logo?
no it cant i tried but it still looks cool another issue is that fortnite is now unplayable on this phne for lack of optimization and netflix doesnt support HDR even though the phone should another example of marketing at its best just so you buy the new rog , i love this phone but ive only had it for a little over a year and hve noticed that it has dropped in perfermance on some games where it is unplayable and its not the phones fault its the apps that are not being optimized for the phone which is very sad considering its a very beuitiful phone.

This phone is on sale right now for numerous distributors. Can you manually uninstall and delete all the Diablo themes and games it comes with to use it as a bare essentials cell phone?
Gaming phones are so great it's unfortunate that the mainstream audience isn't aware of them for the most part. I'm no longer surprised when I tell people that I have a gaming phone and they say "what's that" or "is that a thing?"
