- Nahida and Xianyun both have a banner in version 4.4 of Genshin. We were able to get Xianyun on the account last time, so this time we spent a couple wishes seeing if we could get lucky... and then something very unexpected happened
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.

I love how Java decides to lvl 90 a character that doesn't get too much from it yet nahida is still at lvl 81 hahahah

I kinda also have a thing where its easier for me to lvl 90 a brand new character vs those I've had for a while, even if its not optimal

The fact he is leveling up Xianyun more than Nahida....
huh? he got nahida way back in 3.2, she's more built than xianyun
I think they mean the fact Nahida's level 90 matters a lot more than Xianyun's since Nahida's damage is all spread which scales with character level@@bbysiea
@@bbysieaNahida, who highly benefits from EM and reactions, is level 81. Xianyun, who only cares about ATK and ER, is level 90.

Glad Java doesn't need to lose his sanity when the next catalyst comes out unless he keeps making the wrong decision. The latter one sounds more like him.

by the way, Wriothesley has a high plunge dmg multiplier so he’s good with Xianyun!!

Get Mora from weekly bounties I get a lot of mora from doing that weekly that I don´t farm mora leylines anymore

Oh and an Extra Tip!
Even if your bounties are maxed for all regions keep farming the mora! Only stop when an patch update(region) is upcoming and save the bounties for the next region made that mistake on the inazuma update so mad that I missed a week to get the glider lol anyways
Windrace is the only co-op minigames i can tolerate. I let my friend do all the co-op events if i can ngl

Your teams are getting stronger each episodes and I can see the 36* in the abyss coming soon.
Was thinking to a "No Resin Account" where all your characters are stuck at lvl 40 (cuz impossible to farm bosses) and you can only use artefacts you find in chest and get during quests. For all the rest you have the Parametric Transformer, dailies, quests, birthday mails, etc... It sounds like a type of challenge that requires a lot of creativity and you wouldn't be stuck in the open world because of puzzle like you are often with your other challenge accounts.

I’ve been running Miko, Furina, Nahida and Xianyun with Miko plunging on my AR60 main account and honestly it’s one of the best plunge teams i’ve tried (but that might just be cause the first 3 are some of my best built characters or because they are just cracked in general).

You can get mora but turning in the moneybags from Childe that you get in the archon quest and story quest, just go into the Northland Bank in Liyue and turn them in to Enkanterina who is the teller.

Java bruh don't forget to level cloud retainer basic atk it increases her plunge DMG multiplier and bonuses given to her party also you should farm the Fontaine healing artefact set because it increases all the DMG types she needs
IDK if I'm reading this wrong, but none of Xianyun's talents affect her buff.

She only needs it if she's the one using her Burst plunges, which she really shouldn't be doing.
You know Java, with all your accounts that need regular resources, if you invested any time in the teapot, you could buy mora and books from free in game currency every week.
And since you're not "playing" them, you're using them like you would the crafting passives, you could put the rejects in the teapot for friendship farming. Which will also open up a LOT of extra primos on top of achievements. (You get 20x2 per character when chatting within their respective furniture set, and most sets are used for like 4-8 characters).
I have an idea for you, small characters only no one has dare to do it, for some reason. Characters allowed are qiqi, diona, yao yao, dori, klee etc. Characters the height of babara are not considered small. Will you brave this challenge.
I got cloud retainer then did a few more pulls cuz i wanted to get gaming, and managed to get qiqi in like 6 pulls. The only time ill be happy to see her

Xianyun's weapon is a HUGE upgrade. I don't remember the exact calculations, but it's significantly better than the second best option. By a LOT.

Yes artifacts are rng while talents are guaranteed upgrades. That said, artifacts are more than half of a characters total stats. Additionally past level 6, talent levels are generally less than a 4% damage increase for that one particular talent (even less of a impact on total team damage per rotation). That is basically equivalent to one relevant offensive substat roll.
So generally the optimal priority is; Weapon ascension and level, character ascension, artifacts (main stats), talents (until level 6), character level, artifacts (substats/set bonus), talents (level 9 or 10 where it makes sense to crown), artifacts (min-maxing substats).
There are exceptions of course for things like characters that get higher value out of specific artifact sets (Furina with golden troupe or Kazuha and VV for example) where having the set bonus early on can make a massive difference. Additionally there are a few characters that don't care about base atk and can make weapon level a lower priority (unless they need the ER from a weapon).
As a side note, in your quicken team you will probably get more out of plunging with Yae (provided her normal attack talent is leveled). More field time on her will also bring the benefit of lowering her ER needs (her burst has no ICD so all hits can aggravate).

I believe the next catalyst should be Charlotte rerun on Furina banner so this gives plenty of time for building characters.

Don't you think it would be a bit better to wish on weapon banner? As you want to wish that bad (gacha addiction kicking) building pity at character banner is not the smartest move as they might be 4star catalyst that you want and the pity would be that built that you would just get the event 5star character (which probably wouldn't be the catalyst) and the current weapon banner have 2 rate up catalyst so I think it is just overall better idea

@itzKhal but he's building her as a support, and as such, she wouldn't have much crit, and he would be doing the single charge of her skill just for VV and particles. Any character can do good damage if you build them right.

Wriothesley(melt Dps), Nahida(dendre applier,buffer) , Yanfei/Klee(pyro applier), Kokomi/Charlotte
Neuvilette(Dps) , Yae Miko(electro applier) , Baizhu(shielder,healer), Mona(buffer)
I'm not sure if you'll like them but might wanna give it a try.
Using Kokomi in that team will remove the burning
Better idea, no kokomi, use Cloud Retainer for VV and healing, and use Wrios as a plunge dps
