Sorry for your loss, I never thought about the differences in funerals. I'm in the American South, this was so much like funerals I remember growing up attending.
@@aarmstrong862 I grew up in the south. Yes they do things similar to us. I remember my mom saying they used to bring the body home and have a “wake “ all night with the family. The church is similar. The interment is the same accept we place flowers 🌸 on the casket instead of cloth. The repast is exactly the same accept we do burial all in the same day. Wake one day the rest another day, usually within the same week.
