この時の困難と、その後の悲劇を乗り越え
今も尚活動されていることを心から感謝します。
私はBABYMETALがデビューした頃からBABYMETALの存在は認識はしていました。
しかし当時はそこまで興味がなく、長年記憶の片隅で
テレビやラジオで流れるのを耳にする程度で気にも止めていませんでした。
しかし、FIRSTTAKEに｢monochrome｣で出ているのを知り
｢たしかに世界レベルだから上手いだろうけど、そんなに……？｣
と思い興味本位で再生しました。
ただただ泣きました。
今まで色んな歌で感動して泣くことはありました。
しかしSU-METALの歌声はこれまでの経験と次元が違いました。
それからBABYMETALの過去の曲も映像も見ています。
この曲も涙無しでは見ることが出来ません。
歌の素晴らしさだけでなく
中元すず香としての歌への熱意が垣間見えるからです。
13年間私は人生を損していた……
もっと早くBABYMETALをちゃんと聴くべきだった……
今新しいBABYMETALを見ることができて
ほんとうに感謝しています。

初日だったと思うけど、この曲が始まると、これがこの広島で特別な曲なんだとわかった。それほど観客に伝わるものがあった。曲が終わった後、機材トラブルなのか次の曲がなかなか始まらず、ずっと拍手が続いていた。むしろ、ずっと拍手できることが嬉しかった。
Suさんの瞳が虹を見つめ希望となり強い意志となってゆく。泣き出しそうで泣かないSuさんに代わって神バンドのギターがたっぷり泣いてくれる。強い精神性を感じる美しい曲。何度聞いたか分からない、何度泣かされたか分からない。
国内外ジャンル問わず色々聴いてるけど、胸に突き刺さる様な声と表現力で人の心を揺さ振り、自分に涙を流させるボーカリストは近年では今のところ、この人だけだった。これは限られた人にしか出来ない表現力で、特別な才能の持ち主としか言いようがない。

I agree with you, to be honest as a musician I use to listen a lot of variety of music and most of them is just plain loud music that you can listen for a couple of days and you get tired of listening to it. ゆいちゃん欠場の報が伝わった入場待ちの列に、一気に不安と緊張が走った。
その時はIn the name of という曲名も知らないオープニングで、久々の過剰演出大会と悟った。
気持ちを入れ替えたメイト達は、1人残らず最初からゆいちゃんパートを埋める気満々で、タイミングも声量もバッチリだった。
もあちゃんソロGJに、健気に頑張るもあちゃんを応援する、というメイト気持ちを、圧倒的に超えるもあちゃんの力量に感動した。
お好み焼き屋の厳島は入れなかった。
原爆ドームや平和記念資料館で、ショックを受ける海外メイトさんを多数見た。
偶然横の広場のイベントで演奏のX-HIROSHIMAが大ウケ、何故か最高のオープニングアクトと化していた。
まさか藤岡先生最後のBMになるとは。(でも機材は共演継続)
Xオマージュのこの曲が、すぅちゃん凱旋成人生誕祭で、被爆と柊の伝説と重なり、すぅちゃんの完璧なパフォーマンスを目の当たりにして、すぅちゃんは神の子/キツネ様の使いとの思いを新たにした。(柊の伝説と結び付けるチームBMのこじつけ力も凄い。)
家族に嘘を付いて、結局ばれて、でも何とか参戦できて、本当に良かった。間違い無く伝説のライブ、生涯の記憶に残ると思う。
私も参戦できた幸運に感謝したいと思う
二日目・・・私も博多から遥々車で遠征しました！(聖地＆名所巡りしたくて)

I've heard many emotional songs in my life, but none hit me as much this one, especially knowing that this was Mikio Fujioka's last performance, and he poured his heart into this one. May he RIP and rock forever. Sumetal, wow. I don't know what she is singing, but I can just feel her emotion. The power and and stage presence this young woman has is amazing. Sumetal just knows how to connect to the listeners-the fans. She has a special gift. This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Top 3. What a band! The talent, the diversity in their music, the power.

It took me a while to appreciate this song. I'm more into heavy music. But i totally agree with you about Babymetal. I discovered them a few months ago and i haven't been this excited about any music in a long long time.

This song specifically was heavily influenced by X-Japan's "Endless Rain." It's in the same key, there are similar riffs and melodies, and the words "endless rain" even appear in the lyrics (in Japanese).
My father passed away in 2010 too. X-Japan's drummer/pianist and songwriter passed away from suicide when he was a child and X-Japan's "Tears" is a song dedicated to his father. I highly suggest you take a look at that live performance since I've never seen a performance as emotion-filled as that about the topic we have in common. It's comforting knowing that the deepest of your emotions are shared by others and to see and hear it in music is very moving. Hope this message reaches you brotha.

2021 年、日本武道館での10 days 公演のラスト二日間このナンバーを披露し、とても意義ある選曲だと思う。途中10 数秒間沈黙の意味は人それぞれ様々な思い入れがあると思うが、自分は藤岡幹大さんへの魂の受け入れだと解釈している。このナンバーが彼へのレクイエムだと感じられる。2014年3月2日同会場でこのナンバーをプレイし、その7年後の4月14 日15 日の両日、10周年記念のライヴと云った特別な聖地でもあるこの日本武道館。36歳の若さで逝ってしまった天国に召された藤岡さん、きっと喜んでいるに違いない。

Such emotion and control, it is just incredible. Su almost cracks every time she does this song, but this is the closest I have seen. As noted below, at 3:02 she almost cracks, who wouldn't, I can barely listen to this song without tears. Here is the thing, watch the rest of that verse, watch how she transforms at the end of the verse into Su-Metal, Queen of the Metal World, as the red lights come on. Absolutely amazing. I have NEVER seen a singer with that much power and gravitas.

2018 US&EUツアーが終わり今思う事、今回のダークサイド設定は、小神様の事もあり喪に服すというか哀悼の意味もあったのかなーと個人的には思います。野球やサッカーなら喪章をつけてって事もありますが、ライブではそうもいきませんよね。 多くのファンが悲しんだ以上にメンバーは衝撃と辛さがあったと思います。しかしそこで止まってしまう事は何より小神様も望んではいないはずですもんね。 大神様が小神様のギターを連れて行ってくれて弾いてくれた事も、天国の小神様も喜んで見ていてくれたのではないでしょうか。 きっと天国でも片足上げながらノリノリで弾いてる事でしょう !!! I am 64 years old and my music is Zeppelin, Sabbath, UFO, Purple and latterly, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless. I have been watching Babymetal videos on You Tube for about a year butt his is the first time I have seen/heard this song.... and WOW! Can't find any more words for the beauty of this........
75 years ago today USA bombed Hiroshima with the result of about 200000 dead, most of them civilians. Listening to this song today makes me cry a little extra while listening to it.
