Started a Neidan/Defense character from scratch. No idea if it's gonna synergise well, but as soon as I saw that the combo is called 'Monk', I had to make one. That's just really cool.
Some details i didn't include in the video but exist in the text form: Huangdi's Favor Charge level means you attack once and in the 2nd attack the skill triggers. Shen Pao skill works like Blade Barrier and Throwing Knives of Rogue Mastery, it transmits weapon effects (not from weapons)!!! Weakest Chakra affects your allies/pets too! Consequences works also with spells and damage reflection and aggresive auras!!!
What you think is the best Class Combination now ? Is still the dargonhunter ? Speed Attack with bow and Projektil Speed? Or will this the new must have Class?
When you say consequences works on spells/damage reflection, does this mean that spells such as shen pao and hundagi’s favour can cast it on an opponent? Thank you!
I think this will combo super well with Storm. They overlap in both Lightning&Frost Damages, both have Energy Drain skills and they have pets as well as damage reducing effects. Cant wait to try that combo out
I've been so stuck on league of legends that i missed a huuuge expansion of my all time favourite game, thanks for covering it so well! What do you think, with what mastery will this pair the best?
Some skills are obviously insane, namely physical resistance boosts, resist reductions and dodge chances. Others are just head-scratchingly "do these devs even play the game" level of useless such as making your pet easier to kill.. pet builds will want to keep them alive and non-pet builds will obviously have better stuff to do with their cast time than resummoning pets. But that goes for a lot of skills in the TQ system I guess, not a lot of balance and the jank is part of the charm.. you can play GD for the balanced experience. I see Neidan + Hunting being a new top class in the game moving forward. Big phys res boosts, dodge chance on both masteries, huge resist reductions that stack with Study Prey. +56% total damage on the auto-attack replacer is huge on every second attack. Pierce-calculation mechanics means it double-dips as physical damage gets boosted, converted into pierce damage and then boosted again (pierce damage is the only damage that double dips like this, it's really weird). It's like Haruspex on chinese alchemy steroids.
Mr. Fae, do you pretend to remake this video, since the skill tree has been updated? (for example: potent elixir now also adds temporary resistances to poison, life leech and bleeding).
1 charge levels actually means every second hit is boosted because charged hit is special(it concidered as skill hit and not a normal weapon attack) it can not trigger charge level increase or any passive percentage trigger special attacks (like shield attacks)
I don't know if this has been asked but I can't find this information anywhere. Is the aura of tranquility a hero only aura or does it work on oets as well?
Just finished the new dlc and all side quests. Was a ton of fun, but the new class feels kinda useless. A lot of rng and other classes are much better in equal situations. Gonna try a new pet build with Neidan+Nature, maybe this could turn out into something useful.
Hello, I wanted to ask you a question. In order to play Eternal Embers with the old characters, do you have to complete Ragnarok at the legendary level? I don't like starting a new character and would like to continue with my heroes. Thanks.
This class seems pretty weak compared to all the older choices. Something that might have made it much more interesting would have been a skill tree that involved unarmed strikes. That is, when attacking with no weapon your punches get all sorts of powerful physical and elemental damage boosts and could also cause interesting debuffs and AoE's if you filled out the tree. Something like a D&D monk + elemental magic. Oh well. Missed opportunity there, IMO. (EDIT: I also wish they would have added caster offhands to TQ with this expansion. Having them in nearly every other ARPG makes TQ seem severely lacking...)
Do Consequences trigger off of weapon attacks only, or from skills as well? I have unfortunately already invested points in Neidan, so cant back out of it now, and will have to live with the "consequences" of my actions, but knowing whether it triggers off of skills too will help. Thanks in advance.
outdated potent elixir (if its still called that) provides movement speed, attack speed and cast speed all separate % numbers when not under the effect of potions this makes quaving potions nerf your dps therefor this isn't as useful and would probably be better when natural/skills that regen energy/health so that you don't need much potions if any, to preserve the speed buff
About weakest chakra, vita dmg is added to our attack,but how is reduction to enemy resist and damage applied? By attacks or just when they enter radius of skill? And also, does it stack with consequences? Resist reduction i mean.
The description of the skill makes it look like it automatically reduces enemies' stats but i think that it is applied by our weapon attacks, i haven't tested this skill to see exactly how. It is multiplicative though, the reduction to resists. so it stacks with Consequences which is absolute.
I'm planning to make new character - pure caster Spiritualist (Spirit+Neidan), and I'm a bit worried if I should use Breath Attack or Life Drain as my main right mouse button skill (basically main offensive ability that would be used most) and the Breath Attack seems a bit weak to me (when I reach level 12, I need to have something strong, there is a big chance to meet Shadowmaw mini-boss). Also, I found an unpleasant thing with Consequences skill (don't know if it is a bug or intentional) - sometimes, it jumps on player character as well. Usefull as this skill may be, I really don't want to get negative 25% on MY CHARACTER'S resistances xD

Cool explanation of the new mastery. Are there any other new additions included with this dlc? I wanted new difficulty level above legendary and aslo the option to choose 3rd mastery for years now.
Legendary game ever since u are tester u can tell him to make rogue dungeons on every act and 1 or 2 skills on each mastery that will make game above then legendary

There is a portal in Corinth at the start of Ragnarok which you can use to visit this Act6

It is Legendary difficulty exclusive, you don't need to complete Ragnarok, just use the portal from the first city of Ragnarok to get to the new act.

My noob as can’t handle legendary, so I am using retaliation like a coward. Seems to be barely surviving so far. Hard expansion but I like it

In this mastery alone the RR of both skills stack on enemies, they also stack with other skills but in multiple ways, not exactly the same.

Nope, we don't have this kind of additions but we get a Legendary Hero which allows to create a Lvl. 70 hero and play straight away in Legendary!
3rd mastery would be a mess.
