- Welcome to part 1 of my new Planet Coaster series: Cedar Flags! This is going to be a design based series where we are using sandbox mode to build in the Alpine map. This series is going to be full of speed build/timelapse formats where each episode will be full of gameplay. I will be using your comments and suggestions to design and build Cedar Flags from the flat land that we have to start into something truly amazing! The plan for this series is to build a park similar to Cedar Point and the Six Flags parks, thus the name Cedar Flags.
This first episode is focused on designing and building our park entrance. Every great theme park needs a great entrance. This timelapse covers about 4 or 5 hours of building. Personally, I think this could have been done faster. I spent a lot of time in the beginning looking through all of the pieces. As I began to get back into the game I started to make more efficient use of the tools. Moving forward in the series we should be able to get a lot more done per episode.
Our entrance features a total of six park point of entries and five information desks. There is also a restroom hidden away in one of the buildings. I imagine these buildings to be the administration offices of the park.
