Elizabeth rocks! This was a good song name for Mariah. She flits note to note like a Butterfly to flowers. I listen to her in small doses because of this. Gigi has a full, sweet chest voice. Her transition to head voice is almost seamless. Gigi has me hooked. Gigi has done a few live shows in California recently. When she finds the right original song she is going to blow up. Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Bruno, Mariah, etc. but in reality, there are so many other voices just as lovely, just as capable. Hearing Mariah's, then Gigi's version, let's yet another voice be heard. Mariah set the standards. Gigi honored that and then added her artistry. I kinda like Gigi's, in part because of her bravery but also, she's got pipes!!
Both great singers. Mariah's studio version did not showcase enough of her vocal ability. Studio productions tend to sound like mass produced. Gigi, in a nutshell, is simply phenomenal. I don't think anyone really knows her limit.
