I bought 3 pieces recently, I am really impressed with the knife in that price range. Originally I wanted to buy Delica, but for the price of Delica I got 3 knives which if I destroy or lose I will not regret. I definitely recommend the Ganzo Firebird F759M for EDC.
Welcome back! I love this was the first video I saw when coming to your page. I’ve been wanting to get another Ganzo and this one was on my radar. I love the Spyderco/Byrd blade shapes but I’ve had terrible luck in the quality control department with those brands. Especially Spyderco. I’m new to this but I expect a level of quality at their prices that I just haven’t seen on my end. The sage 5 may be the only exception so far. At $15? Almost seems like a no brainer on this one. Great look at this!
Hey there! Glad my review was able to help, I'm sorry to hear you've had issues with Spyderco, it's so sad to hear they're slipping nowadays :/ but luckily this is a fantastic knife for the money! Better than any of the Byrd line I've handled for sure :)
Had many knives from combat fixed blades to leather mans in my army service. Now I have Spydercos, Civivis and the Ganzo models 759M, 727s and the 41s all great knives imho! I found that the 759Ms came smoother than my Byrd meadowlark 2 and robin 2. If I would of saw this video I would of shipped both back because I’m definitely keeping my ganzos! Keep it up brah 🤙🏼
This is a stupid good EDC “beater”. Got it for $13. Say what you will but, it’s light, tough, keen edged, well built and solid lock. The finger choil puts it ahead of the Delica for me.
I have a ganzo F753M1. I bought it as a cheap beater knife, I could do things to I wouldn't with my Benchmade knives. Turned out to be an awesome purchase I use the hell out of that thing and I comes back to paper slicing sharp very easily. It's got a few things I don't like about it: like the thumb stud and lock bar being rounded on top rather flat, the action isn't as slick as Benchmade but it's a fraction of the price and just nit picks.
Fully agreed, Ganzo makes some great budget options! I do kind of wish their axis locks were as fluid as Sanrnemu's considering the similar price point, but even still it's hard to complain when they're so cheap! Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate it :D
@@CutleryNovice love ffg and thin stock, cuts very well. Mine has a bit of an uneven sharpening, but I'll fix it with the Lansky system. And the action is a bit stiff so far, but I plan to disassemble the knife, polish the washers, etc, then everything will be perfect. Btw, i immediately put on a titanium deep carry clip, perfect. I really didn't like the original one.. 😁
I have both this Firebird and the Delica. While the Delica has better metal and action on its pivot, the Firebird is 85 percent as good at one-sixth of the price. I like its scale better as the proprietary Spydie scale is too aggressive. I sand papered the edge a bit as it’s too boxy and it felt ok after this treatment. Careful with the screws though, easy to strip. Thus said, buy a few to use in your house and cars. Btw, it’s 2024 and Delicas are prized at $98 in Amazon.
That does tend to be an issue with many lockbacks, I've noticed that most companies can't get consistent backsprings for them so sometimes they're stout, sometimes they're weak, it's a bit of a tossup, sorry to hear it though, I bet Ganzo would send you a replacement if you emailed em!
I bought 2 a blue one and a green one and both want flick out . At least not a reverse flick. But it's still a good knife for the money. I might take it apart and weaken the back .🤣🤣
china is making good knifes. I like the gonzo f759m. wow 15 bucks im a happy camper.semper fi.

As someone who's owned a Delica, I can say that this does an EXCELLENT job filling the slot the Delica occupies! Very solid knife
I have a blue one, very usable for the price. Removed clip, keeps pretty sharp. Thanks for sharing.
I just bought one in black handle can’t wait to receive it
Bought one in green color, how was yours? Does it worth the money?
Welcome back
I always enjoy buying these Ganzo knives. Decent knives and great value.
Good to be back! I'll be trying to upload at least once every 2 weeks!

@@CutleryNovice it’s great for sure, I have it in green and orange. Best damn, sharp little folder. A bargain at twice the amount.👍🏻

Delicas are 90-105 euros in Europe now. Insane!
Mine doesn't flick out that good iv lubricated adjusted and it doesn't flick. But other than that it is a decent knife.

"I'm probably the flakiest reviewer in your subscriber feed"
No. No you're not. I'm not subscibed. 😂
Classic rip off of a spyderco which I never liked
