- Hi, My name is Happy Home and today's recipe is How to make LOKUM Pomegranate delight recipe, easy recipe that everyone can make it even the beginners.
This lovely recipe is made with love, this lovely delicious delight is so nice and powerful that gives you high energy and make you more than happy. Keep moving your arm and your hand is a great chance to do a good hand exercises while enjoying cooking.
Ingredients:
2 cups pomegranate juice with water
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup starch
1/4 tsp citric acid
1 tsp mastic
1/4 kilo pistachios
1 tsp rose water
dry roses for decorating and final touch.

Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 )

Thank you for your video which is wonderful to see. I have made Lokum in the past and always had a problem with it weeping after some days, not sure if something is wrong but this does not happen with factory Lokum. I tried drying it a little in the oven which helps but I dont know. I too am curious regarding the addition of the sugar three times during the cooking process, does this make it harder? does this stop any caramelisation of sugar, I love to know the science there? Thank you.

Turkish Delight with Pomegranate and nuts pistachios is a sweety to please and delight any body. There is nothing not like about this receipe except Eat Eat and more Eat. I love Pomegranate and Pistachios nuts as they both super food for the Heart & soul.

I made this recipe today and it’s delicious! One problem is that it’s very hard after 2-3 hours in the fridge. I had a bit less starch than the recipe and I had to cook it longer to get the thickness. Is it so hard because I overcooked it? Please advise me, I’d like to make this perfect for a party.

Thanks for watching, once it’s separate from the saucepan and also with the test of cold water that’s should be enough
Also try not to over cook as the starch becomes harder, once you reach the consistency as shown in the video then stop cooking. Please watch the video carefully and follow the steps as advised.
There also traditional nougat in my recipes very easy recipe try to make it as well
