Thanks for the compliments on Wells of Chaos v3 map. I make my own templates using waypoints. I couldn't open those templates in World Builder. I'm sure I wasn't doing something correctly.
Thought it was a FFA instead what I got was a team on Pablo for 40mins straight 😂 shout out to Pablo tho he didn’t complain during the match he welcomes the chaos
Another way to do the points is to keep the placings points only but introduce a time trial element to avoid bunkery games. For example, 1st gets 8 points, 2nd 6 points etc but for every ten minutes (or whatever timeframe) that passes a certain number of players must be eliminated or the placings points get reduced by 1. Then again ten minutes after that. Simplifies the game down to what place you come (meaning everyone aims for victory) but puts a clock on things so the players are incentivized to be aggressive in a strategic way
Simplify the points by leaving kill points as they are and only giving a small points bonus for 1st (3 points, equivalent to kill). Drop all the other placings bonuses but cut the 1st place in half. Edit: Much easier to track in game as placings don't really matter and it'll stop people holding on to try and outlast another dying player which is really annoying Edit: Alternatively, I quite like the point system how it is, just flip the responsibility entirely over to the points monitors and have them report numbers after the game is over. Players and monitors have five (or ten) minutes after each game to triple check numbers or raise concerns then its onto the next game. Should avoid drawn out disputes, make it less stressful for host, less drama for players and audience.
I realize not everyone thinks like a programmer, but dude why you torturing yourself with adding points in RT? My brain literally hurts. Make yourself a spreadsheet for each game with 7 rows where the first column is the dead man and cols B,C & D are for those who contributed to that death. Points add themselves up just by looking at the table, this couldn't be easier. Anyway, thanks for ggs as usual, good stuff.
I'm loving the free for all streams. Epic battles with all the pro players!
That nuke game at the end is one of the best I've ever seen.
Thanks for casting! Love this format 😀
