Hi Buddy, I not familiar with waja. If the oil spec is 75W-90 for waja then can use this Toyota brand gear oil. It is really good compared to other brands.
Hi Buddy, for gear oil I typically change it every 30,000km. Coz the cost of oil is cheap, I choose to be on the safe side with more frequent oil changes.
I got to know about this gear oil as it was recommended to me by the spare part shop to give smoother gear changes. At first I was skeptical but after testing it out on 3 of my cars, it really does give very apparent smoother gear engagement vs before.
Yup that is right per the manual. It varies a bit depending how well the transmission was drained out. For me what I practice is just to fill it up until it overflows out the inlet hole.
I was using MTL for many years thinking it was better until one day my regular spare part shop recommended this brand. I gave it a try and if it was no good I could just change it out. To my surprise this Toyota trans fluid actually made the gearshift noticeably smoother vs MTL. Therefore I would suggest you to try this and feel the shifts yourself if it is better. The viscosity rating is as per the manufactures recommendation.
Thanks bro 🔥 just done diy 👍 mine use 2.1L also for gen2 , last change 2022 from workshop 😅 thanks for ur tutorial vd 😊
Just in case someone wondering. Buy 13mm clear tube for refill. Fits perfectly.

Gearbox oil toyata can use for proton wira..?
Hi buddy, yes can just follow oil grade of SAE 75W-90. The brand can be different but this Toyota brand based on my experience is the best.
Is there a dip stick for the gear oil?
Hi buddy, there isn’t a dip stick for the manual trans.
@@forgedforspeed thx
How much litter oil it needs ?
2 litter ?
Hi, may I know how often do you need to change the gear oil?

Hi, I have a manual Proton Gen 2. How much oil does it required? Unfortunately I don't have the use manual :(
Hi Buddy, two bottles of this gear oil = 2L. Manual calls for 2.1L but it is not that important to fill it up to an exact 2.1L
@@forgedforspeed Thanks a lot for the info.
@@forgedforspeed I used 80w-90 Mobil last time. Is there a reason you used Toyota?

Hi buddy, 75W-90 is the correct one.
what is the size of the drain plug washer?
Sorry buddy, I didn’t measure it 😄.
Use 2 liter or 3 liter
I used about 1.5L so need two bottles.
Hi bro, don't our manual suggest 2.1L for our capacity?
Yup that is right per the manual. It varies a bit depending how well the transmission was drained out. For me what I practice is just to fill it up until it overflows out the inlet hole.
Is the Redline MTL as per specifications as well? Was thinking to use that. The 75w80
