I have a talisman, but with a different engine. About the seat cooling, it is best working with air conditioning on ;) i can onliy use it on the first stage in summer because on the second one it is just too cold. But all in all i really like your videos, keep going 👌🏻 greetings from carinthia
For the throttle sensitivity you talk about as a minus, are you in SPORT MODE or CONFORT ? Because SPORT mode will make the throttle definitely more sensitive. Or maybe a default in your test car that need electronic calibration.

My consumption with that engine in the Grandtour is between 4,7 on highway and rural roads and 9,5 inner city. That’s a good consumption for a 1.8t in a big car
I'm an owner of the RENAULT talisman grandtour s-edition 1.8 225hp, very lovely aggressive looking, but the fuel consumption is killing me, also the tank capacity is 46l that's really too small, because it has 4motion on the car. So I need to put gas after max 500km... Maybe considering now putting lpi system on it
Oh really? I have the same engine but no 4control ( so 50 Liters capacity) I get around 600-700 km. The consumption is ranging between 4.3l/100 and around 9,5-10 inner city
Hi Pit-Stop, i have a question since you drove both the "Intens-Line" (in a older video) without acoustic glas and the "Initiale Paris" with acoustic glas (laminated) all around, can you tell me how big the difference is? If you can rememeber.
Unfortunately I will have to disappoint - I don't honestly remember. However, I have driven various cars with the thicker windows and I do have to say they're much nicer to drive because of the refinement they give you with a quieter cabin.
I have a Limited with many options but not the acoustic glas but I don’t miss it. The car is really quiet and quite well insulated. But that’s my opinion
This engine will surely do justice to the Talisman... I have the exact same engine in my Limited Edition Megane - and believe me ... The Megane flies with that engine; good match for this car. The Talisman will do great with the same engine!

All of them are left-hand drives and only available in Europe (and all most probably sold by now). I accidentally stumbled across this one when walking into one of the local Renault Dealerships - wanting to take a look at a Talisman... Yes - exact same engine.
Deon Ellis That is amazing ! A limited run of only 200 cars with that 1.8! Maybe you should have an ecu upgrade that will give you maybe 250 hp and better fuel consumption as well !

My average figures on consumption run between 6.9/100 (conservative driving) going up to 8.1/100 (sporty-ish driving in Sport Mode at about 130 km/h). Obviously the figures on the Talisman will be higher because of the increased body weight.
Hello everyone, I am the owner of a Talisman 1.8 (first registration 2020). The car is beautiful. Most importantly, I bought the car not only because of the family growth, but also because it is much less expensive than an equivalent German car. It also has a detachable trailer hitch. The consumption on the highway at a speed between 150 and 190 km is 8 liters. In the city, on the other hand, it is between 12-14 l. And I drive in ECO mode and try not to accelerate fast. And still it sucks like a thirsty elephant. So in a few days I have an appointment at Renault auto repair shop to check the consumption again. If they don't manage to fix the problem there, then I will write to Renault France and really put pressure on them. Greetings from Germany.

@@Der.Nichtraucher Hey, also, meine Abenteuer mit dem Auto? Absolut spannend. Hab diesen stylishen Kombi vor zwei Jahren gekauft - gerade mal zwei Jahre alt und gerade mal 11.000 km runter. Im Grunde war der noch frisch und knackig. Aber jetzt kommt der Clou: Weil der Vorbesitzer so schlau war, eine Plus-Garantie für fünf Jahre abzuschließen, hatte ich noch drei Jahre Garantie in der Tasche. Ziemlich cool, oder? Beim Kauf hab ich ordentlich mit dem Händler gezockt. Am Ende hat er mir das Schlachtschiff für 25.000 Euro überlassen, und für meinen alten Opel Astra, der nach 23 treuen Jahren in Rente ging, hat er auch noch was springen lassen. Klar, ich hab auf neuen TÜV und frisches Motoröl bestanden. Damit hab ich mir quasi die Wartungskosten für die nächsten zwei Jahre gespart - smart, oder? Aber dann, Drama: Die Start-Stopp-Funktion hat gesponnen. Mega nervig, vor allem im stop-and-go des Stadtverkehrs. Obwohl der Kombi noch unter Garantie war, zickten die Jungs von Renault rum und wollten die Batterie nicht wechseln. "Mystische Kräfte" waren am Werk, meinten sie. Hab dann beschlossen, den harten Weg zu gehen und mich bereit erklärt, alle Kosten zu tragen. Aber ich habe Renault Deutschland auch einen ziemlich langen Brief geschrieben, in dem ich mein Umweltbewusstsein und noch so einiges anderes zur Schau gestellt habe. Und siehe da, das hat funktioniert! Renault hat den Vertragspartnern Feuer unterm Hintern gemacht und ich hab mir die 350€ für den Batteriewechsel gespart. Die reparierte Start-Stopp-Funktion hat mir dann etwa 2 Liter Kraftstoff pro 100 km im Stadtverkehr gespart. Aber das Ding frisst immer noch 11 Liter auf 100 km, weit über den Angaben von Renault. Scheint, als könnte man da nichts mehr machen. Jetzt fragst du dich, ob es sich lohnt, so einen Wagen zu kaufen. Mein Tipp: Kommt drauf an, wie tief deine Taschen sind und was du so brauchst. Wenn du genug Asche hast und einen niedrigen Kilometerstand sowie eine Garantie willst, dann könnte der Kombi dein Ding sein. Aber wenn du auf niedrigen Verbrauch und geringe Kosten stehst, ist vielleicht ein Diesel die bessere Wahl. Mein Schwager zum Beispiel hat einen 7 Jahre alten 5er BMW, der schon 200.000 km runter hat, und bisher ist er supergünstig damit gefahren. Ich hoffe, meine Story hilft dir bei deiner Entscheidung. Lass es krachen!
@@butruskazaki479 Vielen vielen Dank für diese sehr ausführliche und ehrliche Antwort❤️ kleine reperaturen/kosten sind natürlich bei jedes Auto dabei - da kann man nicht vor weg laufen (start-stopp werde ich sowieso denk ich mal ausschalten, da ich es nicht so mag dass das auto immer wieder aus und an geht😅) spritkosten sind nicht (mehr) das allergrößte problem, da ich jetzt nicht mehr so viele kilometer fahren muss wie zuvor (hab schon ein benziner im auge) - ich muss halt noch bei der versicherung nachfragen wie viel mir das monatlich kosten würde und dann würde demnächst eventuell auch ein talisman (limousine) bei uns auf der auffahrt stehen (wenn das auto technisch in ordnung ist - ich lass einen renault-monteur das fahrzeug nachgucken✌️) Wenn ich es noch richtig im kopf habe sogar auch noch 2 jahre Garantie😉 Ich wünsch dir und der rest der das vergnügen hat das kfz zu fahren noch viele schöne und problemlose kilometer mit dem talisman✌️
