So one thing is punch kick right into drop kick is not optimal damage for ninja. For me the better thing to do is if the combo is started and you are in range to nunchuck, nunchuck straight until you need to nunchuck diagonal, or chuck heavy to reset the momentum in the combo. Chuck is ninjas best combo tool, and his best tool for combining in the air. Drop kick knocks the opponent far away and does not unlock chuck moves
