I have the polished stainless version with no date. It's a superb looking watch, and despite its size, doesn't feel too heavy or overly big, compared to slightly smaller watches I own.
Hi, what's the real thickness? on your measurement you said 12.4mm but to other videos with the vernier/caliper appears 13.4mm; also 13.4mm in few specs on internet.
Love your channel but to say vintage type dive watches are getting harder to find I feel is incorrect. Never in my watch collecting have I seen so many great vintage style divers. Just about every brand has a few.
@Harry Balls at that price point Look at the Glycine Combat Sub Christopher Ward has the C65 , Bulova Devil Diver but the best would be a minty used Seiko SKX . Go check out my TH-cam channel I have lots of great videos there
The Hydrconquest is a fashion watch through and through. There's nothing wrong with it but it sure as shit ain't a tool watch for diving. There's plenty of those watches on the market now I mean look at the Tudor black bays and omega smp300s. I like both those pieces as well as the hydrconquest but I'd never go wear them to dive in.
The lume is so disappointing like for what almost 2k? That should be a crime there are micro brands for 500 with the same amount of lume plots that actually shine
That scale is worth 11.99 usd on Amazon which is ok, but when you say you trust that scale you are opening up a whole other can of worms. I would have just cut that part out in your review.
True, but these days you wouldn't perform true diving with these watches anyway. I love the symetry on the no date version as well but the date gives this watch the versatility.
@@Marco-ie2xn the legend diver isn't that uncommon to be used as a diver. Main concern with a diving watch when you're gonna use it underwater though is lume. That's why Seiko and citizen are the most used brands for actual divers now.

My Bronze Legend Diver is No-Date too, looks much better. The broze aging nice, with a very cool patina.
It may look much better to you but it's a matter of opinion whether a no date looks better
Great and rare review on this particular legend diver. May I know your wrist size?

depends on the movement, newer model with new movement are slimmer I own the 2010 model and it is 13.4 newer ones are slimmer at 12.smth

Found your channel a few days ago, love it!
Take care!

you never need a date on a diver
because nobody actually dives with a diver like this

You can dive and still use your watch as your everyday watch where you often need to look at the date.
