I think if you use the "APR" mode on the 307 it will descend to the DA you have set and and meet the FAF and any stepdown restrictions.

Great video, i have the near identical setup, finishing my IFR training and this is helpful. Always better seeing it in action rather than reading the manual and trying to figure it out after, this helps!
