I love how they included Diana's ult in the cinematic , of course plus other champions skills
Her Ult groups enemies up, that confused me for a moment because they aren't enemies at that moment, but she used it to save them.

Really almost anytime they come out with a new skin for a female champ I'm like "okay cool but who's that?"
If you showed me Zeri's splash and said it was cyberpop jinx I would believe you.
If you showed me Renata's model and said it was debonair anyone I would believe you.
The idea of a skin is to change the interpretation of the character and that's cool. I really do enjoy them. But there are consequences when the base models you have to work with are all slim, well endowed, have heart shaped faces, and cute little button noses.
Seriously there's like 4 champions that don't have the same nose, 3 champions that don't have the heart face, and 2 humanoid champions that don't have slimthicc body type.
I didn't mean to go off on a ramble. I'd just like to recognize people when I see them. Especially in game.

@@anastasijam8291 I wouldn't even include Leona. Under her armor she is quite slim. The recent cinematic and lor thickens her up a little but her og splash and in game model is tiny without the armor.
This is literally the cutest thing I've seen all day. It gave all the champs their time to shine, it was adorable, and the animation, as always, looks like they forgot what a budget was.
I absolutely adore the way Tristana's eye moves like a feline in this one, such brilliant attention to detail!
This is something else, as a Chinese league player, this is one of my favorite of all time animations done by riot. Going back home during spring festival, lunar/chinese new year is a big thing in China but due to covid and other reasons, I haven't got a chance to go back in the last few years, the struggle is real and I felt it. 虎年大吉，虎虎生风
its becausze riot is now chinese owned this is made like this. being chinese born outside of china actually made me proud of chinese new years but proud of the government is a different story, chinese to chinese you know the importance of "face" cheers happy new years!

People are repeating this so much and... yeah there were changes for sure but Tencent owned 93% of Riot games back in 2011. They bought the rest in 2015.
Things like this are being made because of economics. Not favoritism or preference. There's alot of freaking money in a growing Chinese market. Western markets topped out pretty early.

Was honestly expecting Sett to pull everyone in, then proceed to powerbomb them all to safety! Though using it to pull everyone in for a group hug was pretty sweet, no complaints here! Also Tristana's face during said hug was to damn adorable!

This little clip made me emotional. As someone who lives overseas, I really miss my homecountry which I have not been visited for years. It made me miss home in China. Also everthing of the details were so cute. I love Teemo!

idk the way she looked up when sett's picture flew away kind of made me feel like she's actually way more attentive to everything than it seems but chooses to only act when no one else can , which actually made me interested in the lore of these skins , goddamn you riot.

The solo piano on that part was so good, it showed the beauty of the moon and also fits well of Diana's lore. My favorite part on this cinematic

How creative they were! Everyone was equally represented with their skills the same as how each player can be united when it comes to game whatever struggles they would meet..

I haven't played League for YEARS but one thing that truly makes me happy is how cute and wholesome this is. League is so filled with toxicity that it feels so suffocating, so that's why I support this kind of wholesome content, in hope that League community can be more positive and friendly.

Literally started to cry at Sett's photo. I lost my mom recently, Sett is my main because he's a momma's boy that puts on a tough act (unlike me tho he can back it up with fists lol) and its through my friends i found support as i push on. so like, this was such a heartfelt cinematic. More of this kind of stuff please Riot! I love the wholesome story and the ADORABLE characters. A simple theme everyone can understand, a longing for home. Also I love that the fireworks weren't explained, but simply fill the role of everyone letting the rest know that they made it home. UUUUUUGHH I'M NOT CRYING

I’m not sure if anyone noticed but I love how the Wild Rift team included some aspects of the Porcelain skin line. If you look at 0:34, you can see what it seems to be Porcelain Amumu which I think is awesome! Props to Riot for this.
And maybe the Firecracker skinline is also in the same universe as the Porcelain. That would be cool

@@minchi_the_aoigirl As a Chinese I tell you that's almost definitely from the same universe, cause porcelain skins are called "Qin Hua Ci" in China, which literally means “blue and white porcelain”, a kind of unique porcelain made in China. And Firecracker skins are called "The year of tiger", referring to the Chinese new year there. So these two skin lines have the same origin and background story, I guess you can very much say they are from the same universe.
Everytime i comeback to this cinematic, the music, the nuance, brings back nostalgia about that that one merry lunar new year, esp at the near end where teemo visits his huge family and feast together, the violin man..

I really love how much details riot put into making this video, the packed train full of tiring people after a year long of work and waiting to get reunited with their family. it's a perfect depiction of what it's actually like irl. the food and firecracker and the lion dance brings back so much memories of my childhood to me.

I find this cinematic to be adorable and fun. Sett looking a photo of what appears to be him and his mother, Xin Zhao drinking tea with the porcelain Amumu, Teemo and Tristana hanging out, and Diana reading. I like how everyone uses a skill from the game as well.

I love how everyone is looking at the sky with amazement in their eyes and Teemo just there with his eyes closed.
That was great! Glad I took the time to check it out. The first cinematic I enjoyed watching in a while. I found Diana's scenes the best. All the way from where she was just sitting down without being bothered in that cramped up space in the train(I find it very hard to bear), to the part where she pulls everyone up beautifully, and at the end where she has the clouds part to reveal the moon to really suit the occasion. Loved it!
You can also see that when sett lost his photo and teemo jumped to catch it Diana was worried for them for a moment but when she saw they were fine she went back to her book

Usually skin cinematics aren't my favorite but the visual storytelling and music that riot pulled out with this one is pretty incredible
Made me tear up when they were writing couplets, gramma, mom, and I would always be the one to write them while dad and my brother would hang up the lanterns. The last scene which they look at the moon has a deep meaning in Chinese culture.
It’s a reference to a poem, 水調歌頭•明月幾時有. The last sentence of the poem says “may we, though miles apart, relish the beauty she (moon) displays for as long as we live”.
It expresses that even if friends, loved ones or the family are physically separated, we still have the same moon to look at and act as a spiritual connection to yearn for the ones we hold dear of for generations, beyond space and time boundaries.

This is absolute art. So much perfection. Such dazzling brilliance. The set pieces, the scenery, the character modelling and design. A few small frames like 2:13 had me speechless. Whoever worked on this needs a raise immediately.
This looks soooo damn amazing. They keep getting better and better every time. And I am always blown away. Not only do they make it sooo natural but including the champions' personality and abilities are just on whole new level of brilliance. Looking forward to more awesome cinematics! They make my day every time.

It's quite easy to overlook it, but in the scene where Xin Zhao was drinking and looking out the window, you can see the head of Porcelain Amumu there. Such subtle detail.
Riot never misses with the cinematics or story telling. Seriously they have an amazing out of this world type artists on the team.
