Hello and welcome to our channel! We are Tate and Dani, a mid 30's married couple who are in year 3 of a multi year self funded sabbatical. Join us for our new video series where we return to sailing in the jungle of Panama!
After leaving our boat SV Sundowner (a Westsail 32) 10 months earlier for our RV trip across North America we return to Panama to make the 100 km drive across the country to where the boat was stored at Panamarina on the Caribbean coast.
We had TONS of packing to do and brought back seven 50 lb checked bags with us along with our two carryons. Once we arrive we meet our provisioning guy Emilio who we tasked with buying us much needed provisions for the boat including 4 new 6 volt golf cart batteries and 1 new starting battery along with tons of other gear, food and of course alcohol.
The drive across Panama is BEAUTIFUL and after a couple of hours we arrive and see Sundowner for the first time in nearly a YEAR!
