The chance for Wind Arrows to proc from Rapid Fire needs to be increased to 15-25% and the number of Wind Arrows generated from 1 to 2. In some gameplay I've seen of other hunters, even in high target situations utilizing Rapid Fire Barrage, Wind Arrows only proc'd once or twice, or not at all which feels really bad for getting to Wailing Arrow since it puts a lot of weight on Aimed Shot as a primary generator of Wind Arrows.
The talent that makes Intimidate cast without a pet works for all 3 classes and is basically a instant snapshot, that way your pet wont run through the room.
You read the intim stun talent wrong. You CAN now use it without a pet.. but the secondary effect applies to all specs. Which makes it a buff for markmanship and the other two specs. It doesn't say you have to dismiss your pet for it to aoe stun
The survival mastery 100% boost is only for the defensive % and the 6% is with the buff and doesn't scale with mastery... it's just a flat 3% and 6% within 25 yards of your pet
Lone wolf could just passively give bloodlust as an option and that intimidation talent shit could even have roar of sacrifice be useable (the drawback could be with lonewolf you cant use it if your cc'd)
Well I only tried the MM hunter and tbh, it just feels better to play it. The old Talent tree was just a mess. I mean You have to get Volley for optimal single target dps... and the improved intimidation is nice and all buuut not needed since I will now just keep my pet on all the time....
Glad the focus for hunters was more on defensives rather than their dps finally. But does it not seem redundant that the feign death talent removes two things that are already removed by mending bandage? Good talent for bm and mm but I guess it opens up a third honour talent for sv.
Don't go wailing arrow it's rubbish, stack all into mastery, open with death chackram, rapid fire, pop trueshot, aimed shot rapidfire plus arcane procs, you shouldn't run out of focus unless the game drags on. Surviving is a PITA but doable.
I dropped my Hunter main for Evoker 1 patch ago, because I hated Hunter survivability. After testing this on beta, I will be going back to my Hunter 😅 The changes are incredible 🎉
I'm happy for survival hunters, I really am. But, my little Enhancement Shaman is crying big Tauren tears wishing he had something other than self healing to survive things.

Really excited to play PHDK with my hunter and priest friend, this looks really promising! San'Layn DK and Pack Leader Surv is going to be such a disgustingly tanky rot comp with so much CC, alternatively you could play Rider unholy and Pack leader BM for the ultimate screen clutter

Hell yeah can we finally rework shamans … please. The entire sub is on fire with hero talent trees that don’t even synergize with the actual talents in the tree and some still aren’t even implemented yet.
This might just been an oversight by blizzard n something that hopeful get change in the beta but if you pick wailing arrow in the beta atm you are screwed when it comes to our burst dmg cause it has 0 synergy with Trueshot that reduce cost n make us cast aimed shot n rapid fire 50% faster then we get a slow wailing arrow we have to cast in between when we want to cast more quick n cheap aimed shot in that window also i will never see a use for the talent after readiness that start off by giving a slow wailing arrow when we use Trueshot n generate more wind arrow to have a another slow wailing arrow to screw the burst window up even more also I'm not impressed by blizzard refusal of giving us a simple BL MM can use without pet if they still want that Lone wolf talent to be a thing n even give us more talent in general hunter tree to make us feel even more bad when we have to use our pet to cast BL. Yes the reduced dmg from 10% to 5% on lone wolf might help with single target but will never get close to 5% more aoe dmg because pet as MM do no aoe dmg so it still does not fix the problem where we need to cast BL in dungeon but only fix a problem if there somehow no other BL caster in a raid. But all in all im happy for these hunter changes cause oh boi have we waited years for this
MM main here, nerf to lone wolf is completely pointless, I just have a macro to summon a pet cast lust then abandon it. These changes to MM are dogshit and in my opinion are a nerf to the class completely. Plus with the current tier 4 set not added into the tree our aoe is going to be horrible. I called it. They were gonna do the dk and warlock reworks and then do all the op classes last so they have the numbers to continue to smash them.

It's good on the hunter tree cos if ur pet is not near enough to you or it dies u can still stun on survival / bm and its also got an aoe stun aspect

I tried MM today.. feels awful. starved for focus. starved for aimed shot charges. Wailing arrow is worse than aimed shot.

Pet needed for sac, freedom/bm/selfheal, heal reduction and intimidation (now optional). Will see how it goes
I feel confident because most of the times it works out, its very rare that blizzard messes up hunters, especially bm.

Hunters have a better purge then shaman now? Tranq shot is a 10 second cooldown and greater purge is a 12 second cooldown.
