- We found a video that my brother Nate and his daughter Jessie made of Annie practicing trailering some yearlings last spring. These yearlings are dog broke, but have not been in a trailer before.
Nate has been a huge encouragement to me in my life, not only in my dog training, but also in my relationship with God.
We have never shared this video to our TH-cam Channel before, and we though people might like seeing what Annie could do when she was younger.
Nate mixed up the time training on the horse, and the time training Annie. David has trained the horse for a couple years, and Annie is only seventeen months old here.
Dagley's Annie is a Supreme Qualified Hangin Tree Cowdog.

Looks like these young yearlings have never been loaded up before. Annie is no quitter she is amazing.
I've watched a good many cow dog videos from a few trainers/owners and Annie is the best, period.
It was amazing to see Annie work a herd of yearlings, never stopping, and the drone needed a new battery.

Fantastic! It helps that these cattle have probably been worked with dogs all their lives, but still top notch work there. I wish I could have heard the commands that were being given.

What a great team, miss hearing the commands but at that same point if that Annie is anything like my hanging tree she reads your mind I sware! A great working dog is worth 3 good cowboys. Heifers can be so ignorant and that dog handled them perfectly never letting them get to hot or stupid. Amazing job!
He's like cowboy great, Ben Johnson. He doesn't ride the horse. He wears it. And Annie kicks some serious butt.

Great patience shown by man and dog. It is amazing what a well trained dog can and will do. I am partial to the Hangin Tree dog anyhow. Like having one good friend in a lifetime, a man is blessed if he has one good cowdog.

A well trained combination of herding dog/ human /horse make a team that's a wonder to witness !
Most of my experiences were with hand raised and expensive, pampered, high class breeding stock Angus and Holsteins.
They all had names, personalities, quirks, loved attention and could be bribed . . . Thank God !

Annie is so fast! She doesn't mess around. I've been around cattle most of my life. They are pretty stupid. They worked that poor dog to death. I didn't have a doubt that she would eventually get them loaded.

Excellant, Master is ofcourse master, but these trained dog performed better job than a man.
Why work the dog to deaths door at the end??? The video was fantastic up until the trailer, should have had two dogs. Would have gone much faster. These dogs of his are incredible!
