I have the same amp but the vu meters don't light up. I will change the bulbs but not sure if the meters just pull off from the board inside to take off the plastic clear cover. Its a great amp though.

Nice Technics Vintage Model from the 1970 ts, have the same, but the Amp is only a STK Stereo Chip Inside.
