As always great tutorial... Greg do we need to have a break from nail extension? I don't understand the concept of letting the nail breathe but please if you have any insight on this please educate me. Thanks.
From what I've been taught there's no need to let our nails breathe in between sets (acrylic or gel) because they get their nutrients from the cuticle area not the nail surface. The actual nail isn't alive, hope that makes sense! So as long as we keep the cuticles moisturized and healthy the nails will grow strong and healthy 😄 Oh and proper removal of the acrylic or gel when starting a new set is super important! I believe these guys have a video about how to do it without damaging the nail, I was doing it wrong and damaging the heck out of my nail plate 😨
