I love these pens too! They remind me of acrylic gouache but in a super convenient pen. They are everything I wanted in a paint pen, finally. Love them.
Thank you for sharing all your thoughts on this wonderful painting, and your demonstration of painting this piece. It is really fantastic! I was so glad to find this, as I am interested in the markers and you answered many of my questions!
It is a really beautiful drawing! I am so glad that you mentioned the lightfastness issue, because I am on the verge of buying the Karin Deco brushes. I am hesitant though, because I own the Karin Brushmarkers which are watercolor and I did my own little lightfast test on them for only one month and the colour pretty much disappeared, even though they claim that it is lightfast
I suppose the brushmarkers you tested are dye based ( like the ecoline brush markers and kuretake clean color real brush markers) dye based inks/watercolors are always fugitive just like alcohol inks and markers, as these are also dye based instead of pigment based, the decobrush markers however are pigment based, but the question is wat pigments were used as not all pigments are made from lightfast materials....( i noticed poscas dont have pigment or lightfast info on them either.
Just closed elden ring after unsuccessfully trying to locate blaidd and you post this video...i should have expected a game fanart from you! The game is visually incredible!
Where could you not find him? or at which part of the quest? I finished Ranni's questline some time ago i might be able to help you on that :) (tho it is easy to screw up from softwares side quests haha XD
@@JenWFineArts i summomed him for radahn boss fight and still see his message to go meet in nokrom (can't find him there)...I already spoke with ranni's doll and potentially killed him (or a red ghost that totally looked like him lol)...a friend told me to go back to ranni's tower but he's not there 🤣 perks of a blind run! Anyway your lineart is always amazing!
@@ilariad3837 yeah that red ghost you are supposed to kill, but at the end of the questline he will be at rhanni's tower where you have to fight him one last time because hes gone mad.... but at Nokron he should be near a bridge waiting for you. If hes not in Nokron did you check the forlorn hound evergeol in Limgrave? he is imprissoned there and you have to free him.
@@JenWFineArts Oh thank you! Maybe i'm too far behind on the quest then...no i haven't found him imprisoned actually! I'll recheck the gaols to see if i missed one, i should have used the markers on the map...lesson learnt 😅
I was wishing for the white to be good So that i dont always have to use my brushes and tubes to add highlights But yeah can't have everything The posca white is really good tho
I haven't but i have used colored pencils on top of dry layers of acrylic paints before and that worked very well! These markers are acrylic paint/ink markers so i am pretty sure using colored pencils on top of them wil work just as well :)

Have you tried using colored pencils on top of these markers? Just wondering if it would work. Great job!

Do they bleed?
@@sergioknuf no they do not as these are acrylic paint markers, acrylics dont bleed.
@@JenWFineArts so is not pigment ink
@@sergioknuf no its acrylic paint in a marker :)
@@JenWFineArts oh so is just a marketing name
