- In the latest EQD Sessions, EarthQuaker artist, guitarist Molly Miller teams up with Joshua Ray Gooch for a funky guitar showcase. Miller leads a trio and chairs the Guitar Department at Los Angeles College of Music between touring and recording with Jason Mraz and others. Gooch has toured with Shania Twain and Beth Hart and is also a guitar clinician and writer. With grooves provided by the rhythm section of Alex Kyhn and Tamir Barzilay, the talented quartet take viewers on a groovy musical ride with instrumental takes on the rock classics “After Midnight” and “Up On Cripple Creek.” Miller and Gooch take turns improvising over the familiar tunes with help from the Pyramids, Tentacle, and the Hoof Reaper. Next, comes a couple of improvised tunes including drummer Barzilay playing his kalimba through a Rainbow Machine while the guitarists use the Astral Destiny, Afterneath, and other pedals to both solo and support. There’s plenty of awesome playing and some Supreme Guitar Face. Enjoy!

Killer tunes, killer musicians absolutely slaying! That rhythm section is laying down the perfect bed for the guitars to go to town.... and go to town they do! Thanks for this super cool set.
Deep mood, great vibe, amazing feeling! So thankful!
Thanks for listening
What a treat to hear such outstanding musicians let it all out. Molly and Joshua Ray in my estimation are 2 of the best guitar players in the country. Alex on bass and Tamir on drums provided such a smooth and warm touch to the songs. Altogether it was sheer musical perfection.
Thanks for watching!
