You can do a lot of prepping with $12,000, to include setting up to cast bullets, which lets you make $500 per month if you wish, You can set up to use a Lee 1000 progressive to reload 500 rds per hour. You can cast 1000 bullets per hour in a Lee 6 cavity mold and size-lube 1000 bullets per hour with their cheapest single stage bench mounted reloading press and hand sizer-luber" set up.
Even if you have no cheap local college, so that your Pell grant (6k per year) wont cover your tuition and fees, you can use out of state, onlline classes to get 8k of cash per year. They'll be charging you for 12k of loans and sticking you 1k more per semester( 2 semesters per year) for out of state tuition and another 1k per semester for online classes. 8 k in your pocket beats HELL out of being broke, yes?

In my area before hurricane 🌀 Katrina hit we had a deputy that made bullets with a automatic machine. Everytime the machine went down a bullet would fall in a 5 gallon bucket. His machine was like some time of hydronic machine that once it got all of the bullets filled all of tge stages they were in a straight line and every station was automatic. You dump primers in a hopper and all of them righted themselves up somehow, everything was automatic. The only thing a person would have to do is sit in a chair and rake the rounds back to one side of the bucket. The only other thing one would have to do is keep all the stations filled. Well, the deputy was my cousin and he was having medical problems so he sold his machine to a good young man we both knew. I forgot to say that my cousin Ronnie was supplying the County Sheriff's Department and 2 City police departments with ammo. Not with service rounds but all the rounds that all the deputies and police officers would go shoot by the shooting range, the County bought and the 2 City's purchased all the training rounds for their department. They never once had any malfunction rounds that would put anyone in any danger. Professionally made and I was so amused and impressed going there watching that machine making those rounds. All I could do is sit back and wonder just how fast the big company's produced rounds. I'd love to see the bigger operations in production. He always wanted to sell me his equipment but I was younger then and not into the reloading that much back then. I did reload my own, they younger fella lost that equipment in the hurricane and list 2 rifle/pistol reloaders and 3 Shotgun reloaders along with all my equipment, case trimmers, scales, calipers anyway, I can't think right now but I lost it all. Along with my home and everything in it and outside of it. I always take my two collections firearms and knives. So I didn't lose them but I lost over $350,000 home and personal items couple automobiles a 64 1/2 Ford Mustang with a sooped up 289 in it a Chevrolet Comarro only 10,000 miles on it had T-tops and I even left my 2003 Harley Davison Softtail Custom I paid $23,000 cash for it. We had 28 1/2 feet of water over our property. My house slab is 14 1/2 feet above sea level and we got 14 feet of water come in on us. Terrible thing that happened 2005 We also lost everything before in 1969 Hurricane 🌀 Camille and everyone said that we would never see another hurricane that bad again in our lifetime. Were they wrong. Now, we never say never. We lost our home and everything then as well. All we saved both times was the clothes on our backs and my 2 collections. We also have been a business owner for 50 years a family owned and run grocery store. We lost the store itself and everything in it. We had to build a new one. Gotta go talk again later. God bless 🙌 🙏. 😊

wth would you want with some slow-arsed bolt action, in a heavy caliber, that gets used only 2-3x per year, useless for teaching novices, small game, or self defense/shtf You dont want to be limited to JUST a 22lr, either. Get 60 gr Nosler Partition softpoints and the shorty 223 will take deer and hogs BETTER than a Ky Rifle, 44-40 lever action, .30 Carbine or any pistol ever did , much less arrows. Swap uppers to a longer barrel, higher magnification scope and you can WIN 600 yd rifle matches with your AR. You can swap calibers and have a .458 SOCOM, too., which has real power while being subsonic for use thru the silencer YT has vids about that, silencer hunting hogs, the 22 unit. Check out the pell grants, FAFSA, etc about the loans
