I was at this game. After that long run early my Canes shut Tennessee's offense down completely. Didn't stop them from playing "Rocky Top" every other minute though. Haha. I will say the Tennessee fans were extremely pleasant. Great trip & experience.

The NFL talent on Miami's roster is astounding; Rolle, Taylor, Williams, Vilma, Wilfork, Johnson, Parish, Winslow, Mcgahee, Gore, Winston, Carey, Romberg, etc. and this is a season after losing many players to the NFL.

I hate Miami, but this was one of their best teams since the 80's or 90's. I may be wrong about that, as an outsider looking in.
I miss the days when the top teams scheduled other top teams. It was great for CFB. Now...Alabama plays Mercer. Really?

      Georgia’s working on that:
      2023, 2031: Oklahoma home/home
      2024: Clemson neutral-site
      2025, 2026: UCLA home/home
      2027, 2028: Texas home/home
      2028, 2029: FSU home/home
      2029, 2030: Clemson home/home

    That opening 70 yard run....
Have your ever seen a game open with so much false hope?

This was Tennessee's third blowout loss at home that season which was unprecedented at the time. Sadly for them it would become the norm from this point forward instead of being an anomaly.

Funny to see that besides witten, their punter was their best player

Aaron Gregory that wasn’t even close to the same Miami team no Andre Johnson, No Dorsey, no Magahee, the entire team was a shell of itself....when Miami was at their best they beat the piss out of Tennessee....Tennessee barely beat a decimated Miami team 10-3 pat yourself on the back.

Great Scott! We actually finished above miami in the bcs polls. Not in the ap. And yes we then lost our bowl game to Clemson
